A&W Restaurant — Restaurant in Howard

This location is not far from my work so I have been here several times. Not sure why I have been back after a few of the experiences that I have had. Root beer is on the fountain and not draft like you would expect since it is I've if the markers of the chain (and it is way different no matter what the employees tell you), one visit I had three of the tiniest chicken strips I have ever seen in a meal all in one basket and when I asked them what was up when they handed then to me all I got was "sometimes they vary in size", with no offer of an extra one or any way to make it right even though they looked at them and acknowledged that they were smaller than normal and I stood there awkwardly for like 15 seconds while they justed stared at me like "what do you want". Another time I got a flurry after my meal and it was an inch and a half from the top of the cup, brought it up and asked why the cup was just over half full and the worker said "it's only supposed to be to the line (the line in the foam cup about a half inch from the top)" after I pointed out that the only thing even touching the "line" was the ice cream that splashed up while they were mixing it she just shrugged, like it was coming out of her personal supply that she was hoarding or something. Several times I have picked up the paper fry baggie or if the to go order when they hands it to me and asked them to actually put some fries in it because it was less than half full. I filled out the online survey and gave them bad marks and left my email and phone number and even clicked the box that I wanted to be contacted and never heard anything. I am done giving this location second chances and if I'm going to get lunch I'll try one of the other cheaper, better options in the area because the staff doesn't seem to care if the customers are satisfied...

Three days ago I came and got a large chocolate shake. It was amazing. And was chocolate. Yesterday I went and got 2 large chocolate shakes after they were handed to me I sat and waved and waited till someone noticed me still sitting there. I explained they looked nothing how they did last time and let alone it wasn’t even chocolate looking. It was as white as the cup. The girl in the drive thru didn’t seem to care because she told me “I put 2 pumps (scoops) in there. There is no vanilla in there ma’am. If you leave and try it and decide you don’t want it come back and I will remake it “ I was there and you couldn’t remake it ? Wasn’t worth what was spent on it either. Didn’t even taste like ice cream at all. Honestly ended up throwing it away because it was disgusting. And when I dumped it out IT WAS PINK NOT WHITE NOT CHOCOLATE. PINK. Because I asked for no whipped cream and NO CHERRIES. There was 7 cherries in it. Beyond disappointing and disgusted. Thought customers were right when they ordered their food. But guess it wasn’t even what I ordered so how can it be right ? I work in a neighboring business and visit this location frequently . I probably will never visit again. When I was young I there was A&W restaurant nearby in my hometown of Harford, WI. My oldest brother used to work there as a cook for a time. I used to love going there for some good food and a root beer floats! It was a treat for me to go there! I had this in mind when I saw there was an A&W restaurant nearby! My roommate and I both ordered some food there he had the onion rings and I had the fries. By the time I got there I was extremely hungry and waited for a few minutes while they made our order. I opened the bag of food and everything was nice and hot! The service was excellent and very pleasant and polite! The food was very tasty and hot! And I washed it down with a cold root beer! The only problem is that I don't live near an A&W anymore so I have to wait until I travel out of...
