âď¸ If there was a Guinness World Record for âWorst Experience at Any Business, Anywhere on Planet Earth,â this urgent care would take home the gold medal. âď¸
I called ahead â receptionist could have easily said âHey, block off half your day and bring a sleeping bag,â but nope⌠radio silence. Checked in, and again not a peep about the fact that I was about to spend over 3 hours marinating in the waiting room. One poor soul bailed after two hours and went to the ER â probably faster.
Hereâs a revolutionary idea: with all the technology we have today, maybe let sick people leave and text them when itâs their turn? Instead, they keep everyone sitting shoulder-to-shoulder like itâs the Contagion sequel. Brilliant.
Finally got in to see the doctor. She asked about five questions and then announced sheâd âsent in a prescription.â I asked about antibiotics, and she said I didnât need any because I didnât have a fever. I asked how she knew I didnât have a fever. She confidently replied: âThe thermometer said so.â âŚProblem is, no one ever took my temperature. (Plot twist!) She looked at my chart and yep â blank. Nurse never even pulled out the thermometer.
On the way out, I asked the front desk if I needed to check out or grab the prescription â they said no. Off I went to CVS in Hudson⌠closed for Labor Day. Fantastic. Went back the next day to CVS in Target and⌠surprise, no prescription.
The whole process was so bad it felt like a prank show. The only thing missing was Ashton Kutcher jumping out yelling, âYouâve been Punkâd!â
Thankfully I wasnât one of the parents stuck there with young kids, and thank God I didnât have a stomach bug that requires frequent trips to the bathroom. After reading the other reviews, I now see this place has a PhD in disappointing patients.
If youâre sick â avoid this place like,...
Read moreHad to go into Urgent care cause of dislocated ribs, visit didnât even take an hour (unless you count waiting) the doctor didnât touch me or do anything just asked questions and prescribed pain meds and cough medicine. The doctor said I could get a partial refill upon request and I even have it written on a paper. The pain meds were supplied for 3 days for a dislocated rib bone and cartilage. Doesnât heal in just 3 days and the pain is pressured and uncomfortable. Tried getting ahold of doctor to get refill and he totally Ghosted me. For 3 days I tried getting ahold of this hospital to get the partial refill since it is written on paper that I can get that. BUT the thing is, I had 4 different people (while I was just trying to talk to my dr) tell me that I just needed to go back to the Urgent care room or Emergency room and see someone else. I donât have health insurance, Iâm not trying to have a whole other bill for this when you simply said I could get a partial refill upon request. Donât go back on your word. Not professional. Iâm in pain but clearly they just want more money by telling me to come in again vs just following their word thatâs on paper. Thanks guys, every hospital just wants to charge you the most they can without actually...
Read moreThis urgent care has been a blessing in dealing with my severe, pop out of nowhere, migraines. I couldnât stop throwing up and they made sure to do a scan of my organs to make sure everything was right and it wasnât just because of the migraine. because of my migraine I was severely dehydrated because I couldnât stop throwing up for several days. I am terrified of needles and IVs and the nurses who assisted in hitting a vein were very kind and sweet even though I was crying uncontrollably. The IV they gave me settled my nausea and broke the awful pain of my migraine. They listen to my needs and take action. The hours they are open are wonderful. I am very thankful for this service. Didnât see enough positive reviews for all the hard work and long hours that employees of urgent care put...
