Smokey Treats Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Hudson

Went there to support Deputy Leising fundraiser. Music was overly loud while they live streamed Deputy Leising's funeral service Very poor judgment on their part. Pork sliders were fairly good & moist, but NOT smoky. They took forever & arrived at room temp. Overpriced. Brisket mac & cheese was NOT cheesy, very small portion with 2 tablespoons of moist, but NOT smoky brisket on top. Arrived almost cold. Brisket slider was extremely dry, cold, & not smoky. Slightly tough to chew. Everything is high priced & small portions. Service was spotty & very slow. No huge crowd there either. Complained about food & owner/manager didn't seem to care, & begrudgingly comped our food. No smoke smell, fire, or wood in sight, inside or outside. No need to look for "smoke signals" or fire. No evidence of any wood or smoke smell. Not even a rib dish to be had. This place is a complete joke!!2...

Smokey Treats is tucked into a building with other small, quaint business. The fusion BBQ joint has a lot of amazing option with pork, brisket, and cheese curds! Its Wisconsin and we all know cheese curds are what they are known for. Back to the 'que, we ordered the Buffalo poutine and the Polynesian pork sandwich. The sandwich was good but the mango pineapple chutney somehow took away from the delicious pulled pork. I am a cole slaw junkie and the jalapeño slaw was well seasoned, delicious but needed more kick. I saw small pieces of jalapeño in the slaw but not enough unless you add some off the sandwich.

Buffalo poutine is fries with cheese curds, chicken, buffalo sauce, and a white gravy which strangely goes well together.

I went with my wife. I could really get in trouble with the drink I got. It was so good. We ordered sconey curds and they were great! I got the brisky business burger and my wife ordered the naked pulled pork with the side of brisket mac and cheese. For dessert we got deep fried cheesecake. My burger was good done to perfection. My wife loved the mac and cheese. The cheesecake was also good. The only issue we had was that her bun for her pulled pork was hard. She could barely bite into it. I understand that stuff happens. The service was good also. With ordering an appetizer our main dishes and dessert, it was a lot of food. Next time we're in Hudson we will...
