Planet Fitness — Local services in Hudson

I joined Planet Fitness about three weeks ago. I have nothing but good to say about the gym in Hudson, Wisconsin! It is clean, the equipment is all nice and in good working condition, and everyone is so welcoming. The hours it's open make it possible for me to go whenever I want to. The locker rooms are clean with ample locker space for everyone. (You just need to bring your own lock.) The cost value is fantastic and I love that I can bring a guest with me every time I go if I want to. This is the first time in my life that I have joined a gym and have actually gone consistently. It helps that there is such a wide variety of people who go to this gym, both young and old, as well as people who are advanced in their fitness journeys and people (like me) who are just starting out. I have never felt weird or ashamed for not being in amazing physical shape at this facility. Truly, everyone is welcome! It is such a great facility that I look forward to going and I have fun while I'm there. This is a great gym and I'd recommend...

I would give no stars if I could. My son had a membership there that I was paying for. He went into the military and he cancelled the membership. So 3 weeks ago my credit card was charged for $59 annual membership. I called right away and the manager was going to see about getting this reimbursed as it looked like the account hadn't been cancelled but they froze it instead. So that is why annual membership fee was charged. He said he would look into this with upper management. Haven't heard anything and have not received a refund. So I called today, 3/5/25 and they tell me there is no way they can reimburse the money but now the membership was cancelled. This is really awful business practice for Planet Fitness. PF consistently gets bad reviews on their cancelling membership procedure. I am not happy about this. This is not about the employees there, they are not empowered to be able to do anything about this. SHAME ON YOU PLANET FITNESS. This is a crappy business...

The equipment and general facilities are kept clean. There is a variety of quality workout equipment. I enjoy watching smart TV's. I would like it if more of the equipment was connected to them. The volume on smart TV 6 is so low that it cannot be heard.

I appreciate that the facility is open all day and into the evening until 10 p.m. weekdays, but I would also like those extended hours on the weekend. It truly is a judgment-free zone to workout. The staff are always cordial, helpful, and willing to answer questions.

Any other gym cannot match the membership fee.If you want more amenities, and they do have them, you can upgrade your membership for a tad more per month. It is the best bang for your buck you are likely to find. I workout regularly, and I have never felt better, and my appearance...
