White House Black Market — Local services in Huntersville

Maybe it's just me but when I go into a store to look around, I want to do just that. I don't want to find something, have the salesperson start a fitting room for me and then proceed to go around grabbing a bunch of other things off racks and adding them to my chosen things. I had found a dress that I wanted to try on and then kept looking. I saw that the women were all running around frantically grabbing random things off the racks and adding them to my one dress. When I asked about it they said they were pulling other outfits I might like, for me to try on! I was so annoyed as the stuff in here is not cheap, even on sale. How presumptuous to think you know what I like and what I can afford based off of one simple black dress! When I said I was no longer interested in the dress and that they have a bad business model, they said we were just trying to save you money. LOL, I am interested in knowing how they were trying to save me money by adding ten plus things I didn't ask for into my dressing room. What the heck?!?!? ...

The manager is incapable of handling customer returns. She is very snarky and did nothing but argue with me over false policies. I spend several thousand dollars with WHBM each year. I was treated as though my money didn't matter. After I wanted to make my returns fair, my plan was to use my merchandise credit to enjoy an evening of shopping. When she argued with me over the policies (which are very inconsistent), I had to be more insistent, she threatened to have me escorted out by security just because I wanted fair treatment of the items I wanted returned. I used to enjoy shopping that store, but this is the second incident with the store manager. She even sniffed the shorts I was returning and had tags with them, she then accused me of wearing them and washing them. Humiliating me in front of other customers, all I got was humiliated and threatened by the store manager....

The customer service is wonderful and the staff does a phenomenal job helping you select items that will look great on you. I arrived at the store late this evening and there wasn’t much time til closing, but I explained that I needed clothes for a conference and had been stuck in traffic. Melanie and Ariel quickly went to work finding me pants and tops and dresses that would be suitable and fashionable for my conference and I was so impressed with the choices and color selection. They did a great job quickly finding items that were my style and I walked out very happy. I am grateful to both of them for their time and assistance. They were so...
