This is our 2nd time visit to this store (weāre there on the evening of saturday 5th nov 2022 ) The first time I got a pretty good impression because of the friendly staff, good stuffs until this time. We have come to pick up a few small items for our home. I found a picnic basket that had plastic tableware inside with only one price tag of 5.99 ( i checked the infos on this pricetag that was printed ābasketā so i thought itās the right one), when we brought it to the checkout, a male employee told us it was over $20 and peeled off the price tag in front of my husband when he asked me if I still wanted to buy at that price. Of course we didn't take it. Besides we chose a lampshade for 4.99 with a removable screw top (used to fix the lampshade to the lamp), he asked another staff and they confirmed that it was a separate item and not bundled together and add extra 49 cents to the bill. In addition, we have purchased several ceramic and metal planters. When we finished paying he didn't even ask if we needed the bags, until we asked he gave the bags with some newspaper and didn't help up to wrap them at all. when we went to the parking lot and found that he hadn't given us the receipt yet, i had to go back and ask him ,he just printed it and gave it to me with a very nonchalant attitude. I think the store manager should have a talk with his staff about stock management and respect for customers. maybe that will be the last time we go there. 3 stars is for the stuff, not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI did take the kids go to store yesterday, kids want to buy some plushies and then customers service didnāt agree a price on tags they put for sales 1 plushies and different prices$2.99, $3.99, $4.99. I did told them the price mark $2.99 and their staff didnāt agreement for sales, after thatās the guys call his manager coming and thatās the big fat lady talking so rude and mean. They did told me told all the price together and divided. Thatās ridiculous. Bad customer service and they asking gives them a tipping.
All the items been donated for a customer neighborhood and community. The owner didnāt put any penny to purchase . They did giveaway for free even me I did donate a lot new items I didnāt used it yet given for goodwill free. Why really someone needs to purchase and you guys trying to make a profit?
The name goodwill supposed nonprofit and helping for the poor people can find something they need and a lot people didnāt need giving away.
Also goodwill gives a job for the people disabled, and someone valued their helping. If your teams so mean with a customer, you guyās support to close the store.
Free stuff donations supposed cheap than any store they are selling brand new or brand name.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe prices at Goodwill and especially this "boutique" location in HB have gotten utterly insane the past few years. I cannot believe the audacity that these owners have to upcharge an old clothing item (that they received as a $0 donation) so high. You can't even find a plain old ratty tank for less than $10 here anymore, it is absurd! I checked online and saw that they were actually charging more than the stated online price for several cheap fast fashion items I tried on. This is a greedy company who is maliciously utilizing the good will of charitable locals to their extreme benefit. Also this "boutique" location is chaotic and not well organized, and their "boutique" selections are low quality and tacky. At this point might as well buy clothes new, as Goodwill has evidently lost its original mission and goals. Such unchecked and ludicrous greed isn't a good look! Also, the dressing rooms smelled like urine, disgusting. I don't recommend this location to anyone. Edit: you can clearly see from the nonsense corporate speak in their review that this business has been corrupted by unchecked greed. It is greed through and through, not the grand narrative they are trying to...
