Peter Green Park is a local neighborhood park with 4.04-acres where kids love to visit! Really great space for all kinds of activities! 2 large playgrounds with swings sits in the middle of the park. To the left side a sand, volleyball pit is found. Behind that a small space for soccer is located. Tennis court sit center-back furthest away from the street. To the right of the playground a single basketball court is seen. The entire park is surrounded by a large area of grass for additional activities. Additionally parking is plentiful with available spots in a little parking lot or on the main street. Only downside is this park does not have bathrooms. However there are various spots to sit or have a picnic making this spot one of the best in HB to visit.

The playground units all sit on rubber matting so it's rather inclusive.
The smaller playground was designed for kids 2-5 years old with two racing slides and a slightly larger enclosed twisting slide, along with a few different types of ladders to climb up.
The larger playground is intended for ages 5-12 years old. It's two stories and completely enclosed so the unit itself has some shade. There are multiple, large, twisting slides on this unit. There are various entry points including a fireman pole, off-centered pole, stairs and ladders to climb up.
The playground offers a rock climbing wall and a few installations for pretend play like the firetruck, turtle statues and puzzles.
I highly recommend this park as one of the top parks in HB! Only downside is not having any Restrooms but plan a day here and you won't be...
Read moreHad like 3 birthday party's at once and took over the entire park..also did not like cause the adults at the park were drinking and just was not appropriate for a children's playground, another party had about 6 children, ages, probably 8 to 10years old, shooting nurf guns running into little children knocking them down n accidentally shooting other parents n babies as they were on the slides n play equipment this made me soo nervous n very cautious watching my 3 and 2 year old... NO where to park ...also there was a guy pulling at his pants in the playground at his croch area and then playing on the play set with his son, I think, i watched to see if child was in any distress but hes was ok ...they were from one of the parties that were there...it weirded me n my mother out we left after probably 45mins .......

Had basketball courts, a large place to play in the grass. They have two areas for kids I asume for younger and older. Everyone is respectful for the most part in all the times that I have been here. There are two picnic areas where you can have parties or get togethers. On the end of it all there is a huge area to play in the sand! The big kids area has three levels of fun! Only down side is the younger children’s area has duct tape around this climbing bubble to hold it together which seems pretty scary! That’s why I give it four stars. But other than that it’s a great place to take your...
