This place is incredible! The Final Fantasy MTG release finally got me to play Magic, much to the delight if my wife who had been trying for years. I have been to a lot of shops in search of cards and while looking on the Magic companion app I saw they were running a draft event for the FF set.
Me and my wife showed up to play and while we barely had enough people to draft I had fun, learned to build a deck and walked out with some good cards. We then returned for an even meant for new players to learn deck building and while no one else showed up my wife sat down in the shop with all my cards and helped me with the basics of deck building.
The people running the shop were awesome, and for the learning event really went out of their way to set me up with a few promo cards. They have a vast selection of MTG, Pokémon and YuGi Oh cards as well as Warhammer, D&D and loads of board games. Plenty of space and tables to set up and play games at and they sell some snacks. You can also buy single cards which me and wife did on our second visit.
If you are looking for a nice spacious shop with lots of cards and other table top gaming supplies, I would highly recommend them. Also again, shout out to the people working here for being some warm...
Read moreThis shop used to be so cool but the customer service really tanked after the departure of Ryan. What I find truly baffling is how the owners are currently handling this situation and calling Ryan “by far the worst employee” when he has kept the shop open after hours sometimes reaching until 3-4 in the morning to allow customers and I to wrap up our card games and create a decent community around the business. Mind you this was COUNTLESS times where Ryan was generous enough to let me and others stay far past closing. Now the way they are currently handling this criticism is very unprofessional, indicating they are trying to save face and would rather slander a former employee, cousin or not… This leads me to question these allegations of Ryan “stealing” from the business. As others have stated in their reviews “Fox” is nowhere near as welcoming and at times dismissive of those who walk into this business's doors. Now before the owner tries to claim this is a fake review, I seldomly leave any reviews positive or negative but I felt the need to say something as well as the fact that there seem to be plenty of fake positive reviews of their own with people posting only 1 review on...
Read moreThis is, without question, the best game store I’ve ever been to. From the moment you walk in, you can tell it’s something special. The staff are not only friendly and helpful, but they actually take the time to get to know people and make everyone feel welcome. Beau and Ian really stand out—they go above and beyond to make the store feel like a community space rather than just a place to shop.
The atmosphere here is relaxed, fun, and inviting. Whether you’re coming in to browse, pick up something new, or hang out and play, it’s always a positive experience. The community that’s built around this store is strong, supportive, and full of great people, which says a lot about the kind of environment the owners and staff have created.
It’s rare to find a place that balances professionalism, knowledge, and genuine friendliness so well. Every visit feels worthwhile, and it’s the kind of store that quickly becomes a favorite spot to return to...
