I just finished the phlebotomy course this past October. I passed the national exam. Now, I am waiting to go and do my state license. & In order to do that they (cresent college) needs to send me to a clinic to go and do that. & its May 3, 2013. Everytime I call about it. Its some stupid excuse from Carlos, he says to call him the next day. I call & he makes up some other excuse!! I am so sick and tired of excuses. Last time I was there IN PERSON, Carlos told me he forgot to call the clinic so that I can do my externship. I asked why???? He said he has other things to do!!! You are so unprofessional and you make the school look like BS. I called recently, I talked to Carlos for about 30 seconds about me doing my clinicals again! It seemed as if he didnt really want to talk to me about it. So he transfered my call to Angel. I talked to Angel. It too seemed as if he didnt know what I was talking about in the first place. So he took down my number and said that he will call me back. He didnt. The next day was a Tuesday, I called back it was almost 5:30pm. I talked to Angel again, he told me I had to go look for a clinic to do my externship for my state license!!! Thats yall's job to do!!!!! If anyone is considering on going to this school. Dont bother. You have to constantly hassle these guys to make a simple phone call to get things done on their end. I shouldnt have to bug them like as if I were their mother. Its a small school & not that much students there too. So I'm pretty sure the work load for them is easy. Just horrible. Also a couple other students that do have their state license, the school doesnt help them with finding a job as well. & some of those students had their state license for more than a year!!! This school is...
Read moreI took the Medical Assistant course here at Crescent College with Ms. Padilla, she was an excellent teacher. I was able to take everything she taught me and get hired at the location of my externship. I’m happy to say I’ve been at my location of externship for over a year and am very glad I had Ms Padilla as my teacher. She made the Medical Assistant course very easy to understand and helped me with anything I might’ve struggled with. As well as making sure we had plenty of Lab time to practice injections, vitals and phlebotomy. She was an great teacher and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything down before we...
Read moreI had a great experience here. It’s a great college for anyone who wants to move forward in their education. I became an MA with the help of professional and dedicated teachers, especially Ms. Jenny Fernandez, who shared her knowledge with me and always with a big smile to cheer me up and not giving up. Thank you to Mr. Angel, the Director, for his advice and for always having a great sense of humor. I highly...
