I had a bbl done through Latina Med Spa on March 2nd. I went in for a consultation and the same day I felt rushed to book. I was confident in my doctor so I was ok with booking but I felt like I wanted just a little more time to just go over everything. This was my first time doing this procedure and I didn’t know all the specifics going into it. When I went to book I had to put a $1000 deposit. I asked if I can see the “contract” prior to sending my deposit just so I know what I was getting into. The girl at the front would not give me the contract until after I zelled my $1000 deposit. That made me feel a little uncomfortable. Communication is not something this office has. I feel like they focus on social media rather then making the patients feel confident and secure. They book appointments for me without calling me and notifying me. I’ll get a text saying I have an appointment on this day and this time. Or they move my appointments up earlier and never called me to discuss. Since I’m only a few days post op and can’t drive I obviously have to work around someone else’s schedule. I called them today to ask why my appointment was moved up with no communication and the lady who answered stated “they should be calling you”. I went in for my first massage the day after my surgery and no one told me how to prepare or what to expect and since I drive 2 plus hours depending on traffic I didn’t have time to eat a big breakfast since I left my house at 6:00 am and because of that I got really dizzy during my massage. The lady told me that someone was suppposed to call me and go over with me that I should be eating a big meal 30 mins prior to help. They also did not go over pricing with me prior. After my massage and then giving me 10 different things they “highly recommend” I was left spending almost $500. When I asked the lady who did my massage she said “they didn’t go over how much the massages were?” I was trying to ask questions about my results and what I should expect after and I got a one word answer. When I sent in my remaining deposit and my Covid test I asked them fo respond back confirming they received it so I had no issues. No one responded. The day before they call me and are asking me for it and asking me to send it to a cell phone number and another email. The girls are not that friendly and everything is very rushed. I am delighted to leave feedback on the amazing results from my tummy tuck procedure. Since the initial visit Jojo made me feel at home, once i met doctor Aguiluz i knew i was in the right hands. The day if my surgery all the technicians at the surgical center made me feel safe and relaxed. Once my procedure was done and was taken to the recovery house the nurse were so wonderful top notch care center. The experience is certainly enhanced by friendly and supportive staff, creating a comfortable environment. I can not leave out the wonderful massage technicians from latina med specially Julie, she is amazing at what she does, the first time i was nervous but she took great care of me in my initial post op lymphatic massages. Making my visit pleasant, comfortable and enjoyable i can not discredit the other massage techs as they also contribute to my care and each of them have made me feel great and comfortable when I'm in their hands. I just love the way they all care for the patients. Overall, I know I made the right decision for this procedure with Latina Med Spa and the care received was AMAZING 👏. Please do your research. Don’t just settle for this place because it’s pretty popular on Instagram, most of the staff at this location is rude and have no customer service skills. Beware of a female that works at this place by the name of MICHELLE, don’t let her fake presentation fool you! She is the most unprofessional unethical person I’ve dealt with in my life! Also, the most important part Read everything you’re signing This female in particular will make sure you don’t get what’s on the contract if she could She tries her best to change little things here and there to make your prices go up, even after you already had an agreement pretty much, Make sure you have them write it down and possibly initial and you take that copy with you because trust me I had to deal with this unprofessional female and it was not nice
