Went to this location today to grab a quick bite from the drive through, ordered my lunch and proceeded to the pick up window where I received my drink and presented payment. The manager was the one at the window conducting the sale, after a moment she politely handed me my card and let me know it was declined. She asked if she should run it again, and I said yes please, because surely this was some error on their side. She ran it again, and again it declined. I was confused as I had plenty of funds in my account for the transaction (I thought). She saw that I was surprised by this and offered my meal with no payment. Amazed, I accepted and immediately pulled into a parking spot to figure out the issue on my phone. I had made an error moving money around a few days ago, my account was in the red. While finding this out, another young man (working at DQ) ran out to my parked truck and offered to pay for my meal for me. I let him know that the manager just took care of it, and thanked him very much for his extremely kind offer.
I was the one at fault, and I sit here eating my lunch because of two extremely kind people and their actions today.
DQ reminded me that we're all looking out for each other and I hope those two responsible find...

First things first......
*The service was great. *The public areas were spotless (as well as the employee areas we could see). *The food was fresh and delicious. *Most importantly, the staff was efficient, welcoming and helpful.
All of these things should be the rule, but sadly they are the exception and that's exactly why it's very important to recognize excellence! This location should be recognized, praised and appreciated. "JaNay D" was the manger on duty, she (not only) went out of her way to make sure our order was correct and that we had everything we needed, she was just an overall outgoing, knowledgeable and friendly person.
I told her I was going to make sure her bosses knew about our wonderful experience and it has taken me a couple of weeks to get it done, but better late than never, I guess. I would absolutely love to speak with the franchise owner or anyone else that can/will recognize the great job she's doing. Stay safe and healthy!
