We went in early 2023 to buy a suit for my husband for our wedding. We had good customer service, he got fitted, and overall a good experience. We decided to use this location again to rent a tux for a black tie wedding. I went in with my husband and they measured him and went through the whole process again and had a good experience. My husband specifically told the employee he wanted a slimmer fitting pant, but when he went to pick up the tux, the pants were way too baggy, so the store had to order another pair and we had to wait. Thankfully he went to pick it up a week before the wedding, so there was time for the situation to be corrected. When we got to the store (on our way to the wedding) to pick up the corrected tux, we got there 45 minutes before the store opened, and there was a woman in the store. From across the store, she motioned that they didn’t open until 11. I tried to motion back that we were just there to pick up a tux that was paid for, but she refused to even walk up to the door for me to explain what we needed, and turned away so she didn’t have to speak to me. When we went back, all it took was walking to the back room and handing us the corrected tux so we could be on our way. My husband and I have both worked retail, so we get it! Retail companies have policies and procedures. However, blatant rudeness towards a paying customer is disappointing and frustrating. We will use another store from this point on. Had it not been for our previous situation with buying a suit, I would have...
Read moreWhen I first started coming to Men's Wearhouse, I had gotten my first professional job. Meaning, I came in wearing cargo shorts, flip flops, and probably a t-shirt with a graphic. Every single time I've come to the store (Parkway Place store) I've been greeted with professionalism. The sales people have been friendly, suggestive but not pushy, and more than willing to help. From bringing my jackets in to be pressed to finding a sock that fits my legs right.
One salesperson even followed through on exactly what he said he'd do, including calling exactly when he said he would.
You know, I am frugal by nature, and this is one store that I don't mind spending an extra few bucks in order to get quality service as well as clothes.
Speaking of the clothes. Every single shirt I've purchased has lasted thus far (at least 4 years of weekly use). The collars get a little worn, but I haven't replaced the pointed tips, so it's my own fault. They hold well from stains, need very little ironing on travel, and have been great in both the colder and warmer months. The jacket was an entry level jacket and it has held better than I expected. The socks are hit or miss. I buy Tall socks and half of the socks I've gotten are still in service and a choice favorite among my usual pairs. The other half fell apart and didn't fit at all. I wish I knew if they were different brands or what the differentiator was. I haven't purchased another set of socks out of fear I'll get another poor batch.
All in...
Read moreMy Fiance and I came here this past Mother's Day to find him a suit for our wedding in October. We came when the mall opened. Business didn't open until an hour later but we thought "Well it is Mother's Day". We finally go in and it took a while for help to come our way. Finally a short female with red hair came to help us. She was nice but couldn't have been less knowledgeable about anything we asked. Alot of the time she and I were just staring at eachother. She kept saying "These are the colors we have" and had him put on a jacket to help find his pant size. What?! This was his first time attempting to get a suit so of course we didn't know much or where to begin. After about 10 min of staring and our questions not being answered, we left. He was so excited and this felt like a waste of our time. To be in Parkway Place, we expected better. I don't know about the other location on University but I wouldn't recommend...
