Honestly I like the store but whoever runs customer service, I think her name is Sherika, is very very rude and unpleasant. Every interaction Iâve ever had with her has left me not wanting to ever return to this store. I have no idea how she is still working for Target. She doesnât portray the Target culture or provide the guest experience people come to Target for. I went to the âExchanges & Refundsâ counter to exchange a coat I bought earlier today. She barely acknowledged me as I walked up or made eye contact seeming too preoccupied. Then when I stated I would like to make an exchange for the exact same item just in a different size she responded that Target no longer does exchanges in a very snappy voice. I have never had any issue exchanging an item at guest service, I even already had the item with me ready for the exchange. She told me I would have to go through the line after receiving a refund and repurchase the coat instead of just re-ringing the item for me at the service counter when there was no line or anyone waiting behind me. It was one singular item. I have been to plenty of Targets and guest service was ALWAYS willing to make the return and re-ring the item for me at the register at guest service, EVEN if there was a line. If this is Targetâs recent policy change, then maybe you should remove your signs that say âEXCHANGESâ across the top of the guest service counter. I will avoid using guest service at this location at all costs because this woman does not have an inviting or pleasant attitude whatsoever. Target should genuinely reconsider who they put into higher positions if they are going to have people with her attitude working at GUEST service. Did not feel like a guest at all. I felt like a bother and an...
Read moreApparently, I've been sleeping under a rock because Target is absolutely, hands-down a top shopping place to get familiar with! I've watched their commercials for years and would stop by once in a blue moon, but it wasn't until winter 2018 that I really got involved with them. That was just in time for the holiday savings (which by the way, they'll usually have a % off on their gift cards for a limited time). Not only do they have good deals and promotional gift cards that they issue for their products (for example, with their household items: spend $35 get a $15 gift card), but they also are taking it retro with some throw back products like cassettes, music on vinyl, fanny packs, rubix cubes, etc.
The store's layout makes it easy to navigate and shop, they will usually keep things stocked and will replenish in a timely fashion, but the top reason I enjoy returning is the customer service. The staff is incredibly, super helpful, kind, engaging, and inviting. An added bonus is that on the weekends, they'll usually have their samplers placed throughout the store. I know because I've had the pleasure of working there as a Brand Ambassador who would sample many yummy treats. If you're okay with signing for credit, they do offer the REDCard, but you can usually save just by signing up for their weekly ads and/or by stopping in to see what local deals they may have. If you're late to the game, like myself, I recommend stopping in and...
Read moreI shop at this Target weekly, and it's not out of preference. It's solely because it's inconveniently close to where I live. If there were literally any other decent option nearby, I would have stopped coming here years ago.
Where do I even start? The clothing section is a bona fide disaster. Sizes are a joke, organization is nonexistent, and good luck finding anything that isn't either on the floor or haphazardly tossed onto the wrong rack. The grocery section is woefully limited and is an embarrassment. I haven't even mentioned the power outages happening multiple times a year, leaving the store stripped of anything remotely perishable. I understand that power can be inconsistent during inclement weather, but it's simply unthinkable to me a multi-billion dollar corporation would rather lose hundreds of thousands in inventory per year than invest a nominal sum in backup power generation.
More annoyingly, the self-checkout lines are randomly shut down in a misguided effort to curb theft, leaving just one or two lanes open that are staffed by visibly miserable employees. Once I waited 52 minutes (yes, almost an hour) to buy 3 items.
Next are the bathrooms - filthy, smelly, and clearly neglected. The floors are sticky with various substances, the toilets stay clogged, and there is often no soap or sanitizer.
In short, this store really sucks. Itâs mismanaged, understaffed, and downright unpleasant. The only upside are the...
