Atwoods — Local services in Hutchinson

When we entered all the employees were standing around talking to each other up front. We were looking for dog worker. We finally found it without assistance in a cabinet. We had to walk alk the way to the check out to get ask for help. Where we were we were met with a rude argumentative young man and a clueless older lady. The yung man argued with us about where we said we found the former and that we said we needed assistance. Finally he asked another employee to help us and he walked back with us to the case which appeared to be locked and opened it saying they were supposed to taking them out but had not yet so they were leaving them unlocked. Rarely is the customer service any good at Atwoods in Hutchinson, KS. If I can, I shop at Tractor Supply and Bomgaars. The only benefit of Atwood's is they stay open a little bit later sometimes and they have a couple of things I can’t get anywhere else. Tonight did it for me though I will make sure I can find my items elsewhere. You had two lines open and one line occupied. I go to the open line to get checked out and as I get there, the gal turns off her light and tells me to go over to the next Other checkout lane. It was lazy and rude and was the final straw for me with this place. The gentleman that checked me out was kind, but I’m done with Atwoods. This recently came to Hutchinson, KS, and I love it! They have just about everything for the rancher/outdoor enthusiast. It's not a dedicated sports store, or outdoor store, or feed store, but has a little of everything there. They have a great selection of Ariat and Carhart apparell, including a full selection of western style boots (one of the only places in Hutchinson that does). They have pet food, livestock feed, outdoor recreation gear, home cleaning goods, and much more. There are no sales people to bug you, but staff is friendly if you need something. Great...
