Imperial Garden — Restaurant in Hutchinson

Imperial Garden is not the place to go. Way overpriced! Yesterday 6/23/18 I went into their for my first time, try something new! Well to start out, the menu didn’t add up to what we tried to order. I was told the place is cheap to eat at, well my total came out to be over $32. We order 2 things of rice, generals chicken, peppered chicken & Crab Ragu. That’s wayyyyy over priced just for that. After they told the total I ended up asking to take of rice for me, & just make these small orders. Well they took that off and it still was $24 something. They handed me my food, ended up giving me 2 1/2 full things of rice & peppered chicken. After receiving my food I didn’t even want it. I was already mad due to how expensive it is & to end up not even getting really anything correct just makes it worse. I took the food back inside, told them I don’t want any of this food I just want my money back. The employees then tell me they can NOT give me my money back! So I just wasted over $24!!!! I think this place is pretty good. I don’t think there are a lot of options in town for good Chinese food but this place competes with what’s in town. The restaurant was clean, my son used the restroom and said the restrooms were clean. Our food was ready pretty quickly and was very warm when it came out, too warm to eat right away but I’d rather have that than it being not warm enough. The egg rolls were very good. No way by far even close to anything that resembles good Chinese/Asian cuisine. Menu said white chicken meat and got all dark thigh meat. Zero flavor other than over salted. I literally could not finish more than four bites. I’ve had food in Chinatown in LA, San Francisco, Seattle, and Portland and eaten in many other cities experiencing Asian cuisine from west to east coast and in between and by far the absolute worst I don’t know how anyone can think this is close to good Wendy’s has better...
