Lied to me directly saying amazon canceled the entire QR code return program without even trying to scan or process anything. Amazon customer service verified this was false, and sent me to Kohls instead who processed the QR code return right away with no problems. What an odd off putting experience. (The following is an edit to reply to owners follow up) I was told by a dismissive rude employee that the ENTIRE QR code program had been canceled. What made that bizarre is when I asked if there was something else I could do, I was told I could go to the store in Salina instead. I replied so its just a problem with this store then? I was again told that, no Amazon canceled the QR program a long time ago. Amazon does not offer that anymore its not just THIS store. At this point the contradiction, and rudeness was enough for me so I said I'll figure something else out, and left. Why would Salina have been any better then??? Regardless 1 phone call to Amazon customer service later, and I was at Kohls using their functioning Amazon QR code return system. What is silly is your deflection of blame and unwillingness to admit a problem. Your staffs customer service is abysmil, and you have a major issue with one of your services that others are not having. At any point a canned reply from the employee, or you on here frankly with an added comment about the misinformation, along the lines of "unfortunately there's an issue we haven't figured out yet with Amazon. A local alternative is available though that can be used until it's fixed." would have left me more than happy. That said between your reply to me, and what I've read on here from others I'm pretty sure the 1 star rating...
Read moreUtterly disappointed in the service of this location. I came in this afternoon around 4:30 with 2 Amazon returns. It's not something I typically have. After waiting in line for 5 minutes, it was my turn. The clerk asked if I had an Amazon return. I said yes, and she said, "Did you know we have kiosk for those?" And tried to direct me over by pointing her finger to the other end of the store. I told her I wasn't aware, but I'm in a bit of a hurry today, and could she just do it for me? She then rudly said "Well we are understaffed, so..." she could have taken the two seconds to do HER JOB, especially after I waited in line and had everything ready to go. I found her response was horribly rude, and she made it clear that she didn't want to do it. So I went to the kiosk and did it myself, delaying me further. While talking about me with another customer as if I was in the wrong. The stores staffing issues are NOT the customers' responsibility. I hope her manager becomes aware of this. If customers wait in line for service, ask for the service. It should be done. Side note:The kiosk is neat addition to the store, and in the future, if I find myself in need of this service, I will use it now that I'm aware of it, but unlike me today, I'm not sure many people know about it or...
Read moreSo, on Friday I was traveling down to Hutchinson from 3 hours away and the night before Thursday night, I sent an email to this location with a file to print so I could pick it up while on my way. When I got there Friday morning, I was met with this sign since I got there at 9:33am. I wasn't happy but there wasn't anything I could do. I left what about my day and on Saturday morning I called the store to make sure that they would be open. The lady who answered was rude and I had mentioned that I was there yesterday but the office had been closed and she said 'well we were closed for a funeral and the sign said so." ..... I don't know about you but the sign on their door says nothing about that. But I went got my page that they printed off paid and left. What they printed wasn't even fitted to page size and it was crooked. I won't be back to this location if I'm in the area again. If you want the grace of patience from someone then you need to actually state the reason why you are closed on the sign you posted.
