ALDI — Local services in Independence

Hello, I immigrated here from NZ this year. Aldi is my favourite grocery store. I love the prices here and the Aldi brand is awesome. The meat here is very good too.

I've made a lot of pick up orders and the team at the store are great, however sometimes items in my order are substituted for things that cost twice as much and I end up having to pay the difference which throws off my budget. Back home in NZ, grocery stores wouldn't charge for that difference.

The website has also failed to process my payments a number of times too. Aside from those two issues, I would've given Aldi a 5/5 for their pick up service as they're very quick and friendly.

Shopping in store is enjoyable for the most part. The self checkouts are super handy, and we haven't had any issues with them so far. I love that the restroom is close by the checkouts and easy to access and it's always been clean when we've had to use it.

I particularly like the organic range of food and vegan cheese.

Overall a great store to shop at, lacking some variety (like Asian food for example) but we just shop elsewhere for...

I love Aldi. I have been a loyal shopper for decades. Recently they closed the store near my house so I have been forced to drive out of my way to this location. It is recently remodeled and I am still getting used to the new layout.

Some of the new refrigeration units seem to lack doors, but if it doesn't cause prices to go up I don't have a problem with them. This store also seems to have trouble keeping things in stock compared to my old store. Maybe that's because more people shop here, IDK, but it is disappointing.

Regardless, this location is otherwise comparable to all other Aldi stores in regards to service and price. Employees are pleasant and I get twice the amount of food for the same cost of other grocers. Highly...

HOLY Snieckies!! Knew I was at Aldi's while parking my vehicle, but. Had to go through sunlight into store light, and a couple of seconds for eyes adjust. WOW!! I've mistakenly walked into a posh food market! WAIT! I'm at Aldi's, it said Aldi's on the sign. THIS IS NICE! Ok, walked around the store, little very from before, all most everything moved. And the ROOM in the aisles, and it was busy. Even though crowded, the wait at the register was VERY reasonable. I will be back!

The only bad mark I'm giving Aldi's, is on their carts! I've only working with 1 arm, and the carts are not easily operated with 1 arm. Even if had the use of both arms, it would STILL be a difficult chore to operate most of...
