Overpriced, disappointing options and some unfortunate bad attitudes. I will not return unless the clear robbery ends. I recommend anyone considering checking out the options here just save your time and trek on over to the City Market instead! From the berries to the watermelons, prices were shocking... Esp for produce that is conventionally sprayed and you can find better deals at any grocery store. When asked about conventional spraying, some farmers were very rude and stated that there was no way to have produce without spraying. WRONG! Friendlier Farmers exist at the city market, so don't even waste your time here. The exact same bundle of Swiss chard that is $1 from a local Kansas City farmer, is double the price here. My cousin had her wedding here. It's a really neat place! I love the huge garage doors fill of windows lining the sides of the building. The wedding was outside in the covered pavilion, which was nice. It's slightly sloped which helped everyone to see a bit better. Then the reception was inside.

One issue was that there is no storage area. They have a bunch of tables and chairs there, but they just sit over in the corner. Very awkward to not be able to make them go away out of sight for an event like a wedding. Another was that the wireless microphone cut out a couple times because (I think) it's so far from the receiver in the other side of the building.

I love going to this place. There's so much going on there that concerns our community. Any given day something exciting is bound to draw your interest. This is a boon to our community and then ask that as well. For where else can regular citizens of Independence meet and greet each other while attending sum function that has to do with our community.
