I worked at a nursing home just down the street we had to go away from the proberty to smoke on our breaks and lunch. I took a walk on my break and I ended up Infront of this big beautiful house. One day this little elderly lady came out for the mail. We begin to chat everyday for about a month. One day one of the other nurses aids asked were I went everyday when I told her she turned white as a sheet. She said you have tea with Mrs Truman. Yeah why? She was shocked that I didn't know who Mrs Truman was. You must she this home Mrs Truman was a beautiful caring loving woman. Read moreProbably the worst visitor's center I've been too. The ranger was not friendly or helpful. She didn't tell us about other parts of the site (Noble Home) that were could visit without a tour ticket. There are no displays about Truman in the visitor's center. There is a 12 minute video about Truman and his wife, but that's all it's about, nothing about him growing up or his presidency or anything like that, so don't expect that.
