As a nurse I have visited a friend there at TRUMAN Heritage.I wonder how well the Residents at the care center are cared for because the odor of urine and feces is horrible.And the Residents complain how bad the food is.I recommend toileting every two hours as well as prn I also recommend a better industrial type cleaner and disinfectant.I have visited several times and each time the odor is bad.I know how hard the job of caring for others is BECAUSE I to started out as a nursing assistant then I climbed the ladder to become a nurse .I wonder what your wound rashes ulcers are on the skin of your residence. BECAUSE repostitioning residents also needs improvement. Maybe a comfort care announcement could be made to remind staff to repostion like every 2 hours.Just a few suggestions for improvement BEFORE its time for state inspectors. One day in Sept. of 2009 I decided to go and apply for food stamps. On the wall of the food stamp office I saw a flyer of how I could become a home owner. I went to an informational session they were having that night. After the session, I decided I would go ahead and apply. Next thing you know, I was one of the families who was picked for a home visit. Once the home visit was completed, I waited for about 30-45 days and was notified that I was selected to become a homeowner. Our lives have changed dramatically since! I see a guy leave the building through another door, walk up to another guy and they start looking in a bag. I ask "Did you guys just close?" And his response was "Yup see you next year." and he and his buddy chuckle! I said, "The website for this location says modified hours say open until 3." And he ignores me. Another car pulls up I tell them they just closed and they say the same thing about the website time. I recommend training on customer service and what "rude" responses are. I don't understand why a company would allow that kind of verbal sarcastic treatment to a customer nor do I understand why it's ok to close early when there are...
