I consider myself a bit of a music aficionado, rock, pop, hip-hop, house, etc. So when I finally decided to but a little "thump in my trunk" I was torn on whether to install it myself or have it professionally installed. I was going to initially do it myself since I rather save the $$$$ and I've always been a hands on guy for just about everything. I own a 2006 Honda Civic LX and I have installed a Sony Xplod Stereo player CD/MP3/Aux with all four factory speakers. All four speakers sound great but like the saying goes, the difference between ordinary and extraordinary is the little "extra.' I already had 2 "12" subs but I just needed an amp and of course the wiring. Since I am not comfortable installing this on my own, my only option was to take it to the "man" BB and have them charge me an arm and a leg.
I googled "car stereo indiaatlantic" and came across 2-Bit Car Tunes. After reading several reviews which all were mostly 5 stars I decided to give it a shot since I'm all in for small businesses. A guy by the name of Scott checked out what I had and said no problem. He is VERY knowledgeable about car stereo and you can tell it is his passion. He showed me some of his other work and it was top notch installation. He quoted me a price for the amp and installation which I thought was very reasonable so I said lets do it. I dropped the car off around noon and he was done probably around 4 pm. (Did I mention he gave me a ride back to work?) The installation was CLEAN. I was very impressed how the wiring was located in the vehicle. He even fixed the wiring from my 2 back speakers which I had cut. He also installed a remote for my bass on the side panel of my stickshift which i didnt ask him to do but once I saw the location I was impressed. The sound is AMAZING. He showed how he located the wiring, and all the connections that he did. I have no complaints. He did an excellent job. I will recommend him to my peers
Pro's: Clean installation. Wires are barely visible Clearly explained how he installed equipment Recommended the best equipment for SUBS Reasonable pricing Easy access for remote SUB control Ride to work!!!
Cons: I should of brought my wife's car here instead of...
Read moreI bought a used car and needed my prior after-market CD player installed. I had originally had an appointment with Highway Hi Fi, but my father convinced me to try out 2 Bit instead. I am so glad that I was swayed. Scott, the owner, answered the phone on the first try and was able to fit me in the very next day. He quoted me a price that was cheaper than Highway Hi Fi so I was thrilled from the beginning. Scott went ABOVE and BEYOND anything I expected. It turns out that when he was installing my CD player, he discovered that the car's previous owner had extracted all of the prior audio wiring with one swipe of an exacto-knife. Nice. Scott had to rewire my entire system, which I understand is a nightmare considering where my amp was located. That's just the beginning. All of my speakers were rusted out, as it is a convertible. He was able to get them all working. Also, I had casually asked him if he could find the source of a water leak if he had time so I could let the shop know. He found the source. It was a clogged pipe that was supposed to drain A/C condensation out of the car. Upon this discovery, he examined my floorboards and found copious amounts of BLACK MOLD all under my floor and soaked into the padding. Scott stayed up most of the night helping me. He removed my seats, pulled up all of my carpet and padding, scrubbed the mold out with bleach, and put everything back together by the next afternoon. While working on my car, he even saved a little black kitten that had been abandoned. I was getting nervous as to what the price tag would be, and I am not going to disclose how small it was, but it was not much more than my original price to simply install my CD player. Being a young female, I get nervous any time I have to take my car anywhere, as I feel like a giant dollar sign. I felt comfortable the entire time I was there and was incredibly impressed that there are some legit honest and good business owners out there. I have and will continue to recommend Scott to anyone who needs...

I recently had the pleasure of working with Scott, the owner of 2 Bit Car Tunes, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. After posting on a local Facebook group about some issues I was having with the speakers and subwoofers in my car, Scott was one of the few people who took the time to reach out directly.
Rather than jumping to conclusions or offering a quick fix over messages, Scott took the professional route and asked to inspect the car in person before making any determinations. That level of care and thoroughness immediately stood out.
When I brought my car in, Scott got to work right away. As we walked through the issues, he was already assessing the setup and pointing out multiple problems with the previous installation that I hadn’t noticed. Not only did he take the time to walk me through everything he found, but he also took it upon himself to rewire my door speakers to ensure they worked correctly. In addition, he rerouted the wiring for my subwoofer using proper materials, leaving everything looking much cleaner and more professionally installed.
Scott went above and beyond, and it truly shows in the quality of his work. His honesty, expertise, and attention to detail are second to none. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about the work they do and the customers they serve, Scott at 2 Bit Car Tunes is the person to see.
Thank you again, Scott—I couldn’t be happier...
