Castleton Square has fared somewhat better than many other large mall environments that have been affected by the internet sales giants like Amazon, ebay and others, but decades of increasing stagnation of business as usual, consumer complacency and boredom resulting from the same environs , same visuals and same ambiance every time the mall is visited has taken a toll. As you enter the main mall, the feeling and perception of the environs are like a tour of the great pyramids, with the feeling of age, decay and deterioration. Still, the more these dinosaurs of retail sales struggle to remain open, the better the sales deals and promotions get for the consumer. A rather dead or die-ing part of the Castleton Squares arena of knick-knack shoppes. Harbor Freight is kind of a man's tool paradise of cheap and diverse off-beat products. For myself I enjoy the smells of lubricating oils, metals and rubber upon entering the store. It reminds me of the days of my youth..., when my grandfather would take us to the hardware stores. As for myself... I have purchased many a product from this location. Always well stocked. And adequate personal to help. If I had a negative, that would be in not offering a Westside location. THIS PLACE IS DANGEROUS! Because once I go in I CAN'T LEAVE AND I SPEND ALL MY MONEY!!!! LOL!! In all seriousness the staff is friendly and helpful, they have in store pickup if you prefer to shop online (which in todays world I am sure many people prefer to do so, including myself from time to time) Just a good store all around.
