Family Dollar — Local services in Indianapolis

Okay so I wasn't feeling good and probably shouldn't have been out but my mom needed something and I took her, while there I thought I'd get somethings and then realized I didn't have money on me so (I know I shouldn't have) but put the stuff on a self cause I just wasn't feeling good and the girl about in her twenties came gave me a dirty look and walked away saying if your to lazy to put the stuff back just give it to me and I'll put it back, (just curious, what's the difference between me giving it to her and her getting it from the self, but that's a whole different sorry) so me not feeling well, I went around the corner and said is there a problem? She said no I'm just putting this stuff back, I said oh cause it sounded like you have a problem with me, she said no, your being lazy isn't my problem, I said well I'm sorry if I interrupted your standing around, so she told me get out of her store... WHAT!??? OVER THAT! LOL, and because I didn't she pretended she was calling police and was making a major scene in front of the other customers, I said you really need to learn what customer service is, and the guy that agreed with the girl not to serve me said you think we have to take you just walking all over us but we don't, (while the girl is on the phone so called telling police she had a "violent" customer in her store 😲 I said seriously!? And what did I do that was violent? And the boy at the register that was no where near where it all started said well when you throw stuff at our walls breaking it that's violent. I said WOW you really need to get off those drugs, I threw nothing! He said I can't believe this is your mom, she's so nice and your acting like an animal! Wow, all over not putting stuff back in its place. Then as I'm shaking my head walking out the door the girl said, don't ever come back here again and I hope your life gets better it must be miserable for you to be so out of control. I walk to this location often as I’m a manager at one of the local businesses . I was in shock of the customer service this morning . A young, bright red hair , maybe pregnant young lady walked past me as I entered the store ( no greeting , nothing ) , she went the back of the store . It appeared i was the only customer at the time. I got the items I needed and went to the register where I stood for a few minutes . The young lady comes to the register ( no eye contact , no greeting ) rings my things up. Still nothing . I preceded to pay and then waited for my try receipt but she didn’t hand it to me so I took it from the printer myself . She then just walked away. Not one single word, no eye contact any time ….. I just can’t believe she picked a job in Irvington of all places ( people are very friendly here ) with no customer service skills...

Store staff are nice but never open on time and it’s very frustrating. I have to be at work at 8:30 in Irvington and I’m a teacher so sometimes I need extra snack or supplies and this location is SUPPOSED to be open at 8am. 9/10 when I come to this location it’s WELL after 8:00 and they are not open. Currently sitting in the parking lot at 8:15. There’s two people standing at the entrance waiting to come in and multiple people waiting in cars for the doors to open. So there are multiple people needing something just waiting on the staff to decide to finally open. Once again this is an almost daily habit of the opening staff to not open on time.
