THE PLAYGROUND

It was my fist time visiting The Playground on 12/1/2020. I was running a little behind on time from an appt. Adam still was able to squeeze me into his schedule. He provided a courtesy call a day prior.

I loved the studio! A lot of artsy ideas can be crafted into The Orange and The Blue Room. I was able to book studio time the same day for 12/4/2020. Really beautiful scenery and artwork in the office. The bathroom facilities were very clean.

On 12/4/2020, Dad and I arrived for our duet around 2:15 pm for our hour session live recording starting around 2:30 pm. I was allowed to dress up the set. So I brought in props, pictures, and plants for personal taste regarding added warmth.

Adam, his wife Andrea, and Mr. Kerry allowed practices prior to recording live. They were encouraging and gave beneficial feedback. I received copies of finished product with mix and mastering within 24 hours after my live to my personal email.

Adam followed up with a call once product was finished. Also, he asked permission to send to one of his endeavors contracted with. I had a phenomenal time. It was an honor to be able to jam out in this special place with pops. I look forward to an abundant creation of future good times. It is a playground. Indeed, I did play!...

I went into Playground Productions Studio to record my band's first EP. Adam was very helpful in demonstrating how the recording process works, as it was the first time any of us had partaken in a professional recording. He is very knowledgeable of his craft, and patient in explaining the various recording processes. Adam also spent a good amount of his free time giving us tips and his personal experiential guidance. The studio feels very welcoming. There is a large live performance area, a recording room with materials that facilitate live sound, and a smaller room for single use. The price for recording here is very reasonable, and Adam was flexible in accommodating the requests of each member of my band. The studio is located in Irvington just behind the Irving theater. I wanted to take a moment to share my thoughts on the experience I had at your wonderful jamming session room. Firstly, I must express my gratitude for the warm and friendly atmosphere created by the organizers and the participants. It was a pleasure to meet such nice and talented people.

The space itself was fantastic, providing a comfortable and inviting environment for musicians to come together and create beautiful music. I truly enjoyed the ambiance and the positive vibes that filled the room.

Thank you for offering such a delightful experience for music enthusiasts like me. I look forward to attending more sessions in the future and being a part of this fantastic community you have created.
