After the purchase of a JennAir glass top range at Grand Appliance, I have encountered a few issues, beginning with an automated message left on my phone stating that the range would be delivered the next day, that caused great concern as I wasn't expecting delivery for several weeks so wasn't prepared to accept a random delivery date with only a 24-hour notice. It took multiple attempts to reach someone who then told me I had selected this date (which I did not) and he stated it was going to be a major inconvenience to reschedule at the last minute. After explaining I had not picked this random date he finally apologized and rescheduled the delivery. On the agreed upon scheduled delivery date, the crew removed my old stove, loaded it onto the delivery truck and brought in the new unboxed stove with the oven racks and a heavy box sitting on the unprotected glass stove top. They didnât install the stove because Grand Appliance suggested I hire a contractor they had recommended. It was placed in the kitchen, and the delivery crew then left the house. I went to inspect the stove and immediately saw the glass top was shattered. I caught the delivery crew as they were getting ready to pull away. The delivery crew indicated they had no way of knowing the boxed stove was damaged prior to delivery. Why would the delivery person have not seen the stove was damaged at the time it was unboxed, as he had placed the oven racks and a heavy box on top of it before he brought it into my home and left it? The crew then took the broken stove out of the house and loaded it on the truck, indicating our salesman would contact us about the delivery of another stove and we should ask about getting a temporary stove until the model we bought becomes available again. It wasnât until after the crew left, I stepped barefoot onto tiny glass shards on my floors. Days went by without anyone at Grand Appliance contacting us so we called our salesman who was out for the next 2 days. We were told he was who we needed to talk to. 5 days after the delivery debacle we had to call again because no one at Grand Appliance had yet contacted us. The salesman did not know when another stove would be available, but he stated he would check. The following day he told us another stove had been located but it would be another week before it could be delivered. We had planned on being without an installed stove 2 days, not 2 weeks. The salesman didnât offer us a temporary stove or compensation so we talked to the manager who only offered a small refund of the delivery fee. We have made 1 other major purchase at Grand and was satisfied so we didnât hesitate shopping with them again. Unfortunately, I doubt we return unless this issue can be resolved, at which time I will be happy to change this 1-star rating to 5-stars. UPDATE 1: After talking with Customer Service I was prepared to update my negative comments to a favorable review. However, my replacement stove was delivered with a broken glass top. That's 2 stoves delivered with broken glass tops UNBELIEVABLE! Come on Grand I thought you were better than this. UPDATE 2: A 3rd stove has been been delivered damaged. That's 3 for 3 damaged. Unfortunately for us Grand seems to have a monopoly on the type of JennAir range we need. We have not had a stove in weeks since Grand took our old stove. We are devastated and frustrated by the lack of empathy & customer service we've received. UPDATE 3: Best Buy delivered a new stove 3 weeks ahead of schedule and they treated us as valued customers.    Read moreI was hoping to write a stellar review, but unfortunately, I cannot recommend Grand Appliance. I purchased a Bosch 500 dishwasher with installation and removal. As you may know, this is a high-priced item, and I was expecting high-quality service, but that was not the case.
1.The in-store salesman was very dismissive when I mentioned I needed a two-day turnaround. He rudely walked away, assuming he wouldnât get the sale. Since availability was the same everywhere, he might have gotten the sale if he hadnât been so rude. I eventually bought it online from the Grand Appliance website.
Delivery was average. The crew made a mess of my house and made no effort to minimize debris.
3.The worst part was that the drainage hose was not connected properly. The installer did not remove the garbage disposal plug, causing water to flood under my sink. I had to remove the plug and reinstall the drain hose myself.
The installation team did not plug the old drain hole (which was near the drain trap), so water splashed out of the pipe, making a further mess. I had to buy parts at the hardware store to plug the old drain hole.
The Bosch dishwasher comes with a rubber gasket around the outside of the door frame to protect kitchen cabinetry from moistureâa great feature common on high-quality dishwashers. My prior dishwasher was a premium model as well, and the installer attached this gasket to the wood cabinetry trim. The Grand Appliance team did not, so I had to do it myself. Luckily, I had YouTube and my prior properly installed dishwasher as a reference. When attaching the gasket, I realized the dishwasher was not installed level. Sadly, when I asked if they wanted to use my level during installation, the installer said that is not how it is done.
The installation crew never checked the operation of the dishwasher before leaving, despite my repeated requests to do so.
When I called the local store to request assistance after discovering all these problems, the salesman said that since I bought it online, he refused to help me and hung up.

   Read moreWas promised a 4/28 delivery for dryer and refrigerator! Called one day in advance to verify and found out dryer would not be delivered with the shipment! Rescheduled for 4/30. We had sold out old dryer and promised delivery to a buyer on 4/27 anticipating arrival of "new" dryer on 4/28. On the morning of 4/30 truck arrives and unpacks dryer to bring into the house. Driver notified us the dryer had dents in the front and left side. Also was missing a pin of some kind! We refused shipment. At the same time we had started a load in our washer anticipating delivery of dryer that morning! Spent remainder of that morning in a laundromat drying clothes that were in the washer that morning. We were informed that another dryer would be delivered 5/3. That is three mornings plus time spent at a laundromat that we were inconvenienced. On 4/30 we went to the actual store to find our salesperson and of course he did not come in that day! You can draw your own conclusions about this place. Some twelve days to get a dryer that we were assured was in stock the day we purchased it. No excuse for this! Update: If you go here to purchase a Frigidaire product please give this a thought! I purchased a Frigidaire product some nine months ago from here. Now I sit with a non-working ice maker which is under warranty! I have been thru hell with the incompetent warranty department of Frigidaire. Parts installed that did not work, cancelled service calls, lied to by someone named Nikki in the warranty department several times! While this may not be Grands' fault directly they have to know when they sell Frigidaire products that this may happen. 3/23/23 I am in the process of scheduling a repair person outside the warranty which I am going to have to pay for it myself. Folks before you buy here and buy Frigidaire read the reviews on line concerning Frigidaire warranty. Out of 228 reviews they have a cumulative score of (1) star. Just trying to warn others before they make the same mistake I did.
