Food Lion — Local services in Inman

After teaching this evening, I was So hungry. It was challenging passing all the fast food restaurants (Chick-fil-A & Zaxby was the hardest). I decided to go to Food Lion & grab everything to make a good salad. I'm having a proud moment eating this excellent salad. (apples, strawberries, zucchini, tomatoes, cucumbers, fresh green beans, grilled chicken, Romain lettuce, shredded carrots, garlic couscous and red cabbage)

Our neighborhood supermarket went under new management & ownership (from Bilo to Food Lion). There have been significant updates to the infrastructure within the building, and it is looking better. I enjoy shopping more than I did previously. Management is mindful and listens to the customers' concerns while making necessary modifications & improvements that meet the needs of the consumers. I hope to see the carpet from in Entryway completely removed & replaced with something that does not hold mold, moisture & odor as the current carpet from Bilo has over the years without being replaced. Food Lion has updated the registers, are in the process of replacing all the freezers, refrigerators, and floor tiles within the front aisles. Better selections in food & quality produce have already taken way! The prices are competitive as well.

I look forward to seeing how this store will continue, and I hope they pay the employees better to prevent...

I am not rating lower only because the cashiers are wonderful. But as wonderful as they are, they cannot do anything about the lack of products and poor quality of what they do have, I stopped buying our weekly groceries there about 4 months ago but would still run there for a quick item . But no more! The last 2 times I have bought hamburger meat, it has gone bad 2 days before the sell by date. I have regretted buying produce every time that I have. Today, I walked out empty handed when I ran in for a head of cabbage only to be told they didn't have any. No CABBAGE??? I will gladly drive 3 times as far to Ingles next time I need a head of cabbage. Or a pack of...

I have never been to this location before. I typically get my groceries at Walmart just because they're more cost efficient. I am in South Carolina and affected by Helene. I noticed this location was open as I was driving by so I decided to give it a try in the hopes of scoring some food. Every single employee I encountered was polite, patient and helpful all while dealing with frustrated customers. I don't know if this location is always like this or if it's just sympathy for what people are going through but regardless big shout out to the management team for instilling such a team mentality and positive...
