I was one of a party of six that attended Inman House of Pizza for lunch every other Sunday. After today, we will not return. I arrived later than the rest of my family so I unfortunately didnāt catch the name of our server. Everything was great prior to the food coming out. Drinks remained full and salads came out correctly. Two mini pizzas came out first, followed by my alfredo and a plate of chicken tenders, and then one stromboli. We all started eating assuming the second and last meal to the table would arrive shortly after, but it never came. At this point, we are all well on our way to being halfway through with our meals. I flag the waitress down and ask her to check on the last stromboli. She goes to the back, I see her flip through her tickets, enter the kitchen, come out, and continue about with her other tables. Another five minutes pass and she comes to let us know itās in the oven. Everyone at the table has had their food for twelve minutes (yes, I checked the time) but the stromboli is still in the oven? With that news, we can only assume the order wasnāt entered with the rest of our food. I finish my plate along with two others before it finally arrived. The waitress sat it down and my husband immediately pointed out that everyone was finished eating or almost finished, and could this be removed from the bill to either put in a box to take home or take it back and remove it from the bill. She let us know that isnāt up to her, but she would get the owner out to us. For context to all the Karens, we did not want free food. We wanted a nice meal TOGETHER with our family. The owner comes out who I now know is Steve and is immediately off putting, tells us we received it and it cannot be removed from the bill and when my husband says to take it back then, he picks it up, offers no apology and turns to leave. That was followed with several unanimous āwe will not returnā and he continues to give us his back and throws his hand up in the air waving us off. While everyone else at our table is very disheartened that one of our favorite restaurants treated us as though our bodies in their table and chairs donāt matter, my anger is with the owner.
Steveā your customer service skills are abysmal. You took a heated situation and poured gasoline on it before lighting the match and tossing it back when you threw your hand up in dismissal. You offered no context as to what was going on in your kitchen or why it took so long to receive that plate of food. You offered no solutions. It was either pay for that plate of food that you received seventeen minutes after everyone elseās food while the others at the table watch you eat, pay for that plate of food and take it home, or donāt pay and Iām taking it back. Either way, you ate that cost and then some because we will not return. Do better.
I preach and PREACH shop and eat locally. Spend your money where you live. Give back to your community. After today, I will not recommend this business. Every staff member that was told about our experience offered excuses. āWeāve been busy,ā āitās not always like this,ā āit was the kitchen, not me.ā What excuses your behavior to how you treated your customers, Steve?
I hope that people find somewhere else locally to frequent and spend their hard earned money because we were shown today that it is no good to Inman...
Ā Ā Ā Read morešŖ³šŖ³šŖ³RUDE, ROACHES, and REALLY LONG WAIT!!!šŖ³šŖ³šŖ³My church decided to have their Christmas party here. It was a group of 26 people including several babies or small children. The majority of our party were senior adults. This will be important a bit later in this review. Now for the positives of the place. The food overall was decent. By looking at some of the other pictures, I fully expected to give this place a great rating! I was actually excited to eat here!!! Overall, the food was pretty decent. Not the best that Iāve ever had or the worst. Now for the three things that caused this review to be rated as low as it is. First, the attitude of the servers was borderline uncivil. I understand that we were a large party, but it doesnāt mean you instantly have to run out of patience. My grandfather had ordered a side of pasta with marinara sauce with his smothered chicken. It was not served at the same time as his entree. He is an elderly gentleman and somewhat hard of hearing. So, he didnāt hear the waitress tell him that his side would be out shortly. When he asked about it, he was told, āLike I just saidā it will be out shortly. I know text doesnāt convey voice tones, but it was said in a short smart way. In addition, the restaurant ran out of baked potatoes before they could bring out my grandmotherās plate. She asked if she could just have a bit more salad in lieu of the baked potato. She was told that it wasnāt possible to do that without an up charge. The alternates offered to her were things that she doesnāt eat much at all. Here we have a party of 26 people paying to eat at your restaurant, and the restaurant runs out of an item and wonāt replace it with something the person will eat. This is penny pinching at its finest. My grandmother ended up with some greasy onion rings which she gave the majority of away to other people. The next problem I had was the time it took to get food to us. We had reservations for 6pm. They didnāt start serving is our food until 7:30pm. An hour and a half to get 26 people their food when you knew they were coming is just not acceptable. The last plate to come out was mine. Most of the people had finished or were almost finished when it came out at 8:00pm on the dot. Sorry, but I can tell you 100% their food is not worth waiting 2 hours to get. The last issue I have with the restaurant is the cleanliness of it. As soon as we walked into our dining room, my brother spotted two dead roaches in the corners. Dead roaches are bad enough, but at least I can believe they have put out poison that is doing its job. The real issue is when my mother found a live one crawling on her towards the end of our meal. I cannot nor will not endorse an eating establishment that has roaches šŖ³ crawling on its patrons. If you want Greek or Italian, I would recommend Capriās or Mannyās in Boiling Springs. I have yet to have a bad...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTerrible experience!!! Arrived at 5:45 ordered a 12 inch pizza and fried mushrooms. At 7:00 still didn't have food. They said the ticket didn't print correctly. The mushrooms were burnt when we received them. The server we had was super RUDE. The other server came back and said the pizza would be done in couple minutes. Waited another 15 minutes... Nothing! I seen the server and told her to forget about the pizza...we had a graduation to attend and we are going to be late...asked for my bill so we could leave. As I was walking out to leave the Super RUDE waitress approached me and said "here's your pizza do you want it or not. It's not on your bill!" Apparently because I asked about our food and my husband told them during check out that we were in her face. We were told that the owner was on vacation and they were doing the best the could. I hope to speak with Steve when he gets back from vacation. The two female servers we had need to be successful elsewhere, zero customer service skills. There was a male server that deserves kudos, his name was William. He refilled our drinks and since the two salt shakers were empty he went to find us some. He served my daughter's family their pizza s and salad. So the female server didn't get our tip , William did. Our bill was 13.00 for two iced teas and burnt fried mushrooms. William went out of his way to assist us ...have him a 5.00 dollar tip. Thank you William! PS...the cook offered us a free chocolate chip pizza for our inconvenience. I politely refused because we don't care for them. Also , went to the bathroom before leaving to only find there wasn't any toilet paper.
Steve they can't run the place...
