Southern Fuel Coffee — Restaurant in Inman

When I first went to Southern Fuel Coffee, they had recently opened and were just starting to get the hang of everything. As time went on they quickly became one of my favorite places to get coffee and bagels. I moved to Inman from NC and no one else serves bagels around here, and no one serves them like these guys. They’ve got all the bagel and cream cheese flavors you want and all the bagel sandwich combos you want. The cream cheese amount varies but it is always plenty and a generous amount and rarely not enough. If you are upset about getting your moneys worth, I don't know what to tell you, you can always take some off. For the specialty coffee, awesome. Ive never had something there I didn't like. If you go through the drive thru and don't know what to get, you could ask one of the many very friendly and eager staff members to read off the menu for you. Im sure they are working on putting a menu out there but I have never once felt like the employees felt annoyed by me asking a question. Now I read somewhere in the reviews that Southern Fuel was too political for them. Ive read political cartoons more offensive than this place. If you are getting offended by a coffees shop decor, you must get offended by a lot. Not to mention, do you really go somewhere for the politics? Or the product? Southern Fuel is also very clean, especially the bathrooms.

I was going here every day for probably 2-3 months and the young man that was working was always kind and we loved going every morning. I don't know what has happened recently but the orders are never right...I know times get busy but I ordered a coffee today which is out of my normal order. I ordered it iced they handed us a hot coffee we let the girl know it was supposed to be iced. When they remade it I double checked to see if they put the coconut milk in it that I ordered (it's an option on their website- you can get almond milk, coconut milk or oat milk) I am severely lactose intolerant and they have put regular milk in my coffee 3 or 4 times now and I can obviously tell because I am then in pain and sick for a few days. She proceeds to tell me they've never had coconut milk only coconut syrup. This is extremely upsetting and I wouldn't be leaving this review if it had only happened once or twice because obviously we are human and make mistakes. But, if y'all can't be respective of people's food intolerances or food allergies I just can't simply give my money to risk something that will...

Update* So Salty white pickup truck has quickly became my favorite of all! Solid 10/10!!! It has a nice coffee flavor without being overly sweet. I definitely think y'all should try it if you happen to be on the fence. I've also tried countryside or something like that it and it was decent. My daughter and I stopped by to give it a try opening day as my husband seen it on Facebook (I don't personally have any social media) the night before and knows I adore coffee. We used the drive-thru instead of going in which is a heaven sent. My daughter got a surprise latte and I got a hot 16oz Redneck Crazy. It was a nice sweet coffee mix and I can't wait to try something else next time. The marketing is on point as are their values on the website. Can't wait to see how this place grows and expands as more people find out about it. It does have ample parking at the side and the drive-thru got me in and out in about 5 to 7 minutes which is great for fresh coffee made to order! Have a great day...
