I went in on a Friday morning around 11:30 with seven watches in need of batteries and/or repair. I was immediately greeted by the owner who was finishing up a phone call. Upon completing the call he was professional, courteous, kind and humorous. He told me the watches may not be ready until Monday, I said that was fine. He then asked if I’d be in the area for awhile and I said yes, I had a dental appointment up the street at noon. He said to pop back in after to see how things were going and I may be able to avoid a Saturday or worse case scenario Monday trip back to the store. When I arrived back at the jewelry shop once again I was greeted even while the owner was working with a couple and had another customer waiting before me. Once it was my turn he said everything that could be worked on was ready. Some of the watches need to go directly to the manufacturers for repair or batteries but the ones he could open and tinker with were ready to go. After a drastic few months health wise. I spent many hours alone in the hospital, surgery after surgery. My wife of 32 years was always at my side. She still had to work and take care of our younger son. I was thinking how in the world could I ever show her my appreciation for all that she's done for me. I decided that I would get her something that she would see everyday, earrings that's it. I couldn't drive yet and I wanted to get this done. Started looking around and remembered Davids, they are located across from one of my Doctors. I called and was blown away at the level of customer service, I could have been a prankster for all they knew. I told Matt what I was looking for and my situation, well he called me back and told me he had found a few options that he thought would work. I made it to the store and low and behold he NAILED it. My wife is elated with her new diamond earrings, I'm blessed to have such a wonderful woman in my life and I'm thankful that Matt was able to help me show her how much she means to me. Absolutely terrible service. I came here to have them look at a piece of jewelry that I needed some repairs on. The woman at the front was extremely rude. Unbelievably rude. I have had encounters in stores before, that may not have been there best, or maybe they were having a little bit of a rough day, so they come off a little rude. But this was completely different. I've never written a review like this before, ever. I cannot speak for everyone there. One woman was pretty nice. But, the woman who helped me was so rude, and has no idea what customer service is. I was actually in shock with how she treated me. She had no desire to help me at all. The bad part is that I am in the market to buy a few pieces in the near future. No way I'll go there to buy anything. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I actually went here because my mom recommend it and the reviews looked great. I left feeling bad, and thinking to myself, I'll never step foot in this store again. I don't know what's happened here, but I'll make sure everyone I know, knows not...
