Experience with FoodJa as a Restaurant Partner
Over the past three months, I have had the opportunity to partner with FoodJa as a restaurant. I received an initial call from FoodJa expressing their interest in collaborating with our establishment. Given my prior experience with various third-party delivery platforms and catering companies, I perceived this as a valuable opportunity to expand our restaurant’s reach to corporate clients.
The setup process was relatively straightforward, involving the submission of legal documentation and menus for their team to process. Within one to two weeks, I began receiving orders, totaling approximately 4-5 orders over the past three months.
However, I encountered significant challenges with FoodJa when our restaurant decided to increase prices due to inflation—a common occurrence in the industry. I promptly notified the FoodJa menu department of our price adjustments and submitted an updated menu. I was informed via email that the review process would take approximately 4-5 business days. Unfortunately, after two weeks had elapsed without any communication, I attempted to reach out by phone, only to discover that there was no direct contact number for the menu department. The only available support was for ongoing orders, and my attempts to reach the accounting department were equally unproductive, as voicemails went unanswered.
In my efforts to resolve the issue, I sent multiple emails and contacted the representative who initially assisted with my account setup to express my frustrations. Subsequently, I received an email claiming that I was applying a "markup" to my menu items. In response, I provided supporting documentation, including images of our actual restaurant menu, to demonstrate that this was not the case. After another two weeks, I was informed that they had "found" a different price on another platform. I clarified that those other platforms had never received orders from them and never got to update the menu on their platform, and thus were irrelevant to our situation.
It appears that FoodJa is more focused on investigating trivial matters rather than listening to their partners. Given that they already take a 30% commission from our prices, it is unreasonable to expect us to sell our food at a lower cost. No rational business would agree to such terms.
I also spoke with a representative from the ongoing orders department, who confirmed that many partners have expressed similar dissatisfaction regarding the menu department's handling of issues.
It is disheartening to see how the actions of one department can tarnish the reputation of a company and jeopardize valuable partnerships.
I hope this review serves as a cautionary tale for other restaurants considering a partnership with FoodJa. It is clear that they are not genuinely interested in listening to their partners, but rather in adhering to their own assumptions. Their reviews reflect...

Our company has a weekly staff luncheon. I started with a competitor’s site and ordered our meals in a “catering” style. Hoping that everyone would enjoy the buffet menu I selected. Once I found Foodja, we have not gone back.
As the coordinator, selecting a restaurant, creating it as a TEAM order, and then following your step-by-step instructions have helped me to no end. My crew has also informed me that it is an easy process to follow when ordering once they receive the email announcing the new restaurant of the week. We have 15-25 employees who order. Our budget is $16-$18 and have found endless restaurants to meet the budget standard.
I am pleased that each person receives a meal that they have chosen and will enjoy. Each week their palates are expanded with the different restaurants that are associated with Foodja.
Please continue Foodja to add restaurants!
Your delivery drivers; Have been phenomenal! When they arrive they are professional, helpful, and courteous. Whatever the Foodja hiring process is, don’t change it!

Read moreDO NOT ORDER HERE! I placed my order the night before and received an email at the delivery time saying it would be 30 minutes late. I called Foodja, and they did absolutely nothing to help. When the food finally arrived, all the cookies in the boxes were missing. I called Foodja again, and—shockingly—they still did nothing.
To top it off, I specifically ordered an Italian bowl because I have celiac disease, but the restaurant sent me an Italian sandwich with bread. This mistake could have severely impacted my health.
The lack of care and accountability from both Jersey Mike’s and Foodja is beyond disappointing. I’m done using Foodja and will NEVER order from this Jersey Mike’s location again.
Would not recommend if you value your time, money, or health.
UPDATE: Another issue with Foodja. As an outside sales rep, I’m often on the go and not checking my email while working. Instead of calling 30 minutes before an order is supposed to be delivered to provide updates, they send an email—making it easy to miss important information. When I reached out to request a phone call for better communication, they still didn’t...
