I had a great experience with my instructor, Ms. Ameenah, but that was the only good thing about this place. The people who run it are so unprofessional and do not maintain their facility well. When I went in for clinicals, everyone was practicing in a tightly packed space and the air conditioning was not working -- it was hot and there was no ventilation in an already small space during a pandemic. They also had not fixed their lights in one of the practice rooms, so the evening students had to practice on a mannequin in the dark. The mannequins are completely falling apart and almost impossible to practice on. The owners also used to leave the facility before evening clinicals were done, leaving one instructor and a handful of students by themselves in the night, and the instructor to lock up by herself at the end of the night. On top of that, the owners do not respond to email and do not have strong enough wifi to host their virtual class, which they offer anyways. I would not recommend this place to anyone because it is unsafe, inefficient, and the owners cut corners and do not care at all about facilitating...
Read moreI was extremely excited to go to this school, but you get what you pay for. The class is cheaper than most near the Dallas area, but you’ll be paying other ways. The classes aren’t organized the way they’re told to be. I was also told that I could do night classes, but after registering, they said the night classes will not be available anymore so I had to miss class. The test is also not included, that will be another $100-$300 to take after paying tuition. You also have to go get the certificate notarized which is odd, because most places won’t notarize a signature that isn’t your own. The only thing that was true is the payment. You can make weekly payments, but paying with a card chargers an extra fee, just a heads up. If you can go somewhere else, I’d recommend doing so. This has been more...

And the office admin is great at getting you started, you can do online lectures, but it’s a must you are in class for clinical, at 3rd week we actually go do our last days at an actual facility to shadow CNA’s there, it is a plus and not too far from school. The instructors are nice and very helpful! Graduation ceremony is almost here and I am happy to say that CTK is an exceptional place to get some training in the medical field to further...
