I had been a patient of Dr. Korableva's for many years starting over 20 years ago. I didn't need treatment or annual check-ups for the most recent 14 or so years until thyroid hormone levels recently were a little off. PCP ordered an ultrasound and referred me back to NEOE as a result. Had my initial appt more than two weeks ago. The kiosk would not recognize my information to check in and kept bouncing back to the log-in screen with an error message. Notified the front desk staff. Front desk person seemed inconvenienced to be doing her job. She was just an unpleasant person with a rude demeanor. I was seen by a nurse, then a NP, then Dr. Runer and the NP, then the nurse again. Dr. Runer just ordered a repeat of my bloodwork before deciding if she would prescribe medication and regardless, wanted me to return in two months for a follow-up, preceded by another blood lab. I went immediately to Quest to have blood drawn. After 16 days, I received no call regarding my lab results so I called. There is no phone access to any medical staff, only a message left on a general voice mail box with a return call by the next business day. A young girl with obviously no medical expertise called me the same day to tell me Dr. Runer had reviewed my lab results, summarize the lab results, tell me I have a thyroid condition (by name) but that Dr. Runer isn't prescribing medication for it. When I asked her "what does that mean", she told me she had no idea. I asked if I could speak to a nurse or NP who could explain it to me. I was told that I could schedule an appointment for the following week for which I would be charged an office visit (just to explain to me what the thyroid disease I'm being told I have means, what I can anticipate, will my condition change, etc.) After expressing how unacceptable it is that I couldn't speak to a medical professional to explain my lab results, the girl excused herself momentarily and came back on the line at which time she proceeded to read what sounded like a definition she may have gotten from Google. Again, I expressed my dissatisfaction and astonishment at such a lack of care, unacceptable medical "practice" and asked her why SHE was calling me (and not a medical practioner who can explain my lab results). She ultimately offered to send me a pamphlet or I could do my own research on the internet. This practice is inviting malpractice suits, in my opinion. I'll be canceling my follow-up appointment and finding another...
Read moreRefuse to follow FDA safety label on potentially deadly medication (I've been through all the deadly side effects multiple times, but they insist on recklessly overdosing me to the point where I physically can't follow their advice) in fact, there are no side effects associated with any medication they prescribe (according to them)
Changed treatment without telling me.....at all. (Found out from the pharmacy) then they lied about my medical history to justify it, and wouldn't call back until I left a bad review. (Definitely retaliation for questioning them)
3.lie to me about medical fact repeatedly, and just repeat the phrase "it doesn't work like that" that's literally the most extensive explanation I've received from any of the 2 doctors and 2 PA's I had here.
Absolute refusal to follow any medical guidance except whatever they make up on the spot.
They dissociated with me as a patient as soon as I threatened them with a lawsuit for them intentionally overdosing me. Now I have to find a way to get my meds, (which I need) but can't get another doctor until after my meds run out.
2 years now of them destroying my life with malpractice. Maybe your experience will be different......... But they don't listen to anything I say, cut me off when explaining life threatening warning label symptoms, etc. etc. Unfortunately, they have a good system of maintaining plausible denial, so legally, I have no obvious recourse. Maybe your experience is different, but I would recommend not chancing it if you value your bodily autonomy or health.
Literally, the warning label is there for safety. The adverse side effects are meant to act as stop signs to tell the doctor that something is up and needs to be addressed. They continuously try to gaslight me, while doping me up to make me stupid enough to give them chance after chance, and switching doctors as well as PA's to make it seem like they won't do the same thing.
Anyways, 2 years of my life were destroyed by their incompetence(or corruption). And I wouldn't trust these people to...
Read moreI have been going to NEOE since 2015. At first the office was overwhelming with the quick change from room to room and expectation that you know what the routine is there. With Cassie I was always a patient and not a number or chart. I only seen Wietecha once a year and never really received much feedback from him the rest of the year. With Cassie Porter leaving the practice, the quality of service and care has plummeted. I was first lead to Ms. Fritz for my care and it was like going to a new doctor. Starting over on everything. Changing the medications and treatment, but okay to work with.
This last week I was again moved to a new care provider. Ms. Fannin was trying to pass me off before I even walked in the door. She left a message with on my cell phone while I was in the waiting room to reschedule with Ms. Fritz, but I did not get the message until after my appointment. The appointment was uncomfortable and frustrating. She knew nothing about me, she was rude when they could not pull up my Insulin Connection, and proceeded to tell me how I was just wrong about things. The Insulin Connection to Libre was their office as none else appears to have trouble accessing it. I sent an email to their office to ask Ms Fritz questions about the instruction from Ms. Fannin and she shared that I did not need to do what had been asked.
This week I went and got regular bloodwork and today I attempted to log in to their patient portal to access my results. Only to find they had revoked my access. I called the office to find that I am no longer a fit for their practice. My anxiety and health are the reason per their Office Manager. Since when do they determine that you are too sick to treat? So I get to find another doctor. Might have been the push I needed. Sorry to see the practice in such shambles and the staff so rude. Sorry to those that only see Wietecha once a year and have to deal with the chaos that is otherwise going on in...
