I love this place. Good coffee and very friendly staff, but recently this location has unfortunately been a hangout for a couple homeless guys. The least two times I went in to sit and work, one particular, very large gentleman made himself at home on the couch and even seemed to be taking a nap at one point. He was very ripe… don’t really know how to put it otherwise without coming off rude… and the oder filled the entire room so that it didn’t matter how far away one sat. He also started very loudly and constantly yelling “Excuse me, miss/sir…” at customers and staff to beg people to buy him a hot chocolate or other things. I’d brought my friend who was visiting from out of town so that we could sit and work together and enjoy a good coffee. She made the mistake of getting into a conversation with him and so he continued to yell for her, interrupting her work and even a business phone call. We had to leave. Very disappointing. I feel absolutely terrible saying this because I have so much empathy for people who need help. Perhaps the staff could create a space for him to hang out and instruct him to leave their customers alone. I commend people who could work through it, but it’s pretty much unbearable for me to work in there. I won’t be going back, except for a coffee to go, unless I’m sure he...

Read moreOne of my favorite Cups locations is in an old house in a small town in Mississippi. The atmosphere is outstanding with its quaintness and warmth. Most of the rooms in the house have tables/chairs/couches for enjoying the delicious coffee and for sharing fun fellowship with others. Several of the rooms have fire places. There is also an outside deck and an enclosed front porch. I absolutely love going there!! ADDENDUM: This review was for the Cups in Clinton, MS, and NOT for the location on Old Canton Rd. in Jackson, MS, which I've never visited. For unknown reasons, it was incorrectly posted with my comments about the...
