Incredibly happy with my service here at Kay in Jackson, especially Vince’s service. For starters, I looked EVERYWHERE for a quite specific band for my marquise cut engagement ring. Something with a notch or bend to sit flush. Anything online was $1600-$2200, so I ordered a plastic mock up to see if a local jeweler could do it for less. Said local place, originally quoted me $800 for a 6mm band and I was super happy about this until I returned only a month later just to be quoted $2000 for a (smaller!!) 4mm band and was told the cost of gold “just went up that much.” Frustrated, I went to Kay because their prices online were more favorable, and also in my frustration, I had entirely given up on my band sitting flush or being customized. Vince sold me a 10k white gold 4mm band and a lifetime protection plan, for about $600. Thrilled about the price, I decided to mull over the customization, but eventually brought my band back in to have it resized, and pitched the measurements for customization to Vince (because I didn’t want to part with my engagement ring.) Vince and their service provider (thankfully) insisted I send my engagement ring in to have them matched exactly. When I asked Vince how much that customization would be, he assured me he would have it covered by my lifetime service plan. $0. Highly recommend the Kay Jeweler in Jackson! I worked with Erika and she was phenomenal! I came in to get my engagement ring (purchased from another Jeweler) and wedding band (bought from Kay) sized, cleaned and fitting together how they should. My fiancé and I bought my wedding band about a year ago. At the time I thought my wedding band and engagement ring would fit together. After speaking at length with Erika she explained that we could get the rings to fit, but my engagement ring would still sit higher above the band (it’s a wrap band). She said they’d be more than happy to do that if I was comfortable with it OR if I wasn’t set on the wedding band we could return the old one and get something that fits better.
