T.J. Maxx — Local services in Jackson

This review is to recognize TWO specific T.J.Maxx Employees from a certain T.J.Maxx Store. The Store I am referring to is located at 1152 Jackson Crossing, Jackson, MI 49202. I have been a customer at the Jackson, Michigan Store Location for several years, and have seen employees come & go... But there are 2 Lovely Women who have been there throughout all my shopping years. Michelle, who is a supervisor, is always available to her customers no matter how big or small the concern may be. Michelle conducts herself in a very friendly professional manner. On December 18th, 2024 I was shopping, particularly in the Designer Handbag/Luggage section of the store. I found a handbag that I wanted to purchase, but it was way to the back & hooked to the security monitor. So, I needed an employee to unhook the security so I could look at this bag more closely. Mind you it is almost Christmas week, so the store was quite busy... Michelle, a supervisor, took timeout of her schedule to help her employees, thereby assisting me. She was a pleasure & very helpful!! Next is Rita, who also works at the Jackson, Michigan Location. Rita mainly works at the Jewelry Counter and the surrounding bath/body section of the women's side of the store. I cannot say enough good things about this woman. She always has a smile on her face, no matter how many people she has to assist, plus she knows her stuff, very knowledgeable & helpful!! I’ve shopped here weekly for years. With many different employees saying “I see you in here often, you are always in here..etc” It’s gone so down hill the past year… I had 3 different returns I walked in to the store with today.Christmas gift returns. 2 diffusers- one not diffusing and another one literally sounding like a blender when plugging it in. And a men’s razor that was missing pieces, that I literally bought like that… store manager was rude, wouldn’t return the razor, and went into their headed and said “I said no” to an employee…. I bought it with missing pieces.. how is that okay? You can clearly tell the razor was never used…. And what are the chances of the 3 Christmas gifts I bought from there they all have something wrong with them… clearly she’s got something up her sleeve. I won’t be back to this tjmaxx after shopping here for years, sad but the truth…

Also why doesn’t tjmaxx have some type of system to keep your receipts on file? Every other...

Thought I'd come back today after being in store Saturday and noticing boxes upon boxes of new items yet to be opened and put on the shelves. Thought I'd might see some progress by today. Unfortunately that is not the case. Most look like they haven't been touched since my last visit. The door to the back stockroom was propped open and it is practically filled to the ceiling with new inventory waiting to be put out. The store is crawling with shoppers desperately wanting to shop after being on lockdown yet management appears to be hoarding inventory??? In the meantime I approached the empty checkout lines to find 3 workers complaining about their break times and then another 3 workers chit chatting at the exit making it impossible for shoppers to leave and maintain social distancing.
