Stranger Tours at Hawkins Headquarters — Local services in Jackson

This tour exceeded our expectations! Absolutely loved it and we didn’t want it to end. We are from the UK and really wanted to visit some of the film locations for Stranger Things whilst visiting Atlanta, but found that most are far apart and would require a bus tour. Sadly bus tours aren’t currently running. So we were really excited to find this walking tour in Jackson. The shop is awesome! Full of 80s & 90s nostalgia and of course LOADS of Stranger Things merchandise and memorabilia. There is also an arcade room and Stranger Things costume rail for some themed photos. This is the meeting point for the tour and you can see the Surfer Boy Pizza van parked right outside. The tour guide and team are all so friendly and welcoming and full of interesting facts. We loved walking around the cute town of Jackson and spotting the different scenes from the show and the vintage viewfinder toys were a really nice touch for looking back at each location in the show. Plenty of photo opportunities along the way. Then it was back to the shop for a Stranger Things quiz & pizza. Definitely book this tour if you are a fan of the show. You...

If you’re on the fence about coming here let me be that person who sways your decision to coming! This place is fantastic if you’re a Stranger Things fan or an 80’s fan for that matter! Our tour guide around the square of “ Hawkins , Indiana” was Cameron and he was just great! He was super kind and had a lot of information to give as well as he made you feel comfortable enough to ask questions and tell him your fan theory's! Everybody that greeted us today was super kind! The store is amazing and make sure even if you don’t have to go to the bathroom, do it anyways! 😉 Thank me later!

You go on a short walking tour around the square and then come back and do a trivia to win prizes and get you’re very own Surfer Boy Pizza! My husband and I loved it! Him and I are bigger plus sized people so we were worried about the walking part but it wasn’t bad at all & the tour guide doesn’t walk extremely fast and you stop at every stop and hear some stories!

They even had a street blocked because they are getting ready to film! 5 Stars...

Decided while visiting my niece in Macon to book a tour. Because why not?! And we were not disappointed!! Aside from the obvious Stranger Thing movie spots, decor, and props I was also nerding out on ALL the 80s memorabilia. It’s a GenX trip down memory lane. The classic 80s games, candy, toys, Atari, Nintendo Duck Hunt (which you can actually play btw), and it literally made my day to actually call my husband from the pay phone. It was like old times when we were in high school and, after getting a page on our beeper of course, having to find a payphone to call back!! Ahh the nostalgia. HIGHLY recommend this tour and shop!!! The staff are SO friendly and it was just a fun day. The town of Jackson is def worth checking out!! My niece’s hubby, myself, and my boys thoroughly enjoyed it all ❤️...
