After traveling 9 hours from North Carolina my friends and I decided to meet up at TGI Fridays here in Jackson Tennessee. Upon our arrival we ordered drinks and a quick bite to eat. Once we received our drinks mine which was a Long Island Iced Tea which I normally get every time I visit a TGI Fridays location especially at this location which I have many times in the past, I tasted the drink and immediately notified the waitress that the drink was Juiced down and way too bitter to drink. It reeked of sweet and sour mix only. The waitress by the way who was very pleasant insisted on speaking with her manager about it when she returned she notified us that there was nothing he would do so I insisted on speaking with him twice. When he did come over to the table area he just looked didn't say one word and walked away very rude very very rude. I then decided to get up from our table and go to the bar area where he was located and speak to him about this drink I told him I refuse to pay for a drink that was way too bitter to even consume. Ira was his name which another employee told me that was his name. Ira was very rude and did not want to accommodate me for the awful drink all he had to do was simply replace it there would have not been a problem paying for the drink if it was fixed the correct way. His customer service skills are very poor and he does not know how to talk to people he stood there and rolled his eyes would not look at me directly and conversate with me he totally tried to ignore the fact that I was standing there talking to him he no longer would answer any more questions or even address my concerns mind you I spoke to him a very professional manner and not one time did I get loud or get rude at all but him he was very disrespectful. I've never encountered this type of customer service at this location and I will not be returning whenever I visit the area and my friends that live in the area said they would never return. IRA needs training on how to be more professional when working with the public especially when he holds a position in management. Thank God for the bartender who was standing there he immediately fixed another drink and apologized. The manager IRA is not a good asset to the company and if he treats all the customers like this TGI Fridays will lose a lot of business. He most definitely needs an attitude adjustment and I will be contacting a general...
Read moreSo I left this 1 ⭐️ for service and atmosphere and I couldn’t rate the food. We walked in the door at 8 PM on a Saturday night. There a no hours of operation on the door, so who knows when they open or close. There’s a bar so it’s probably later than 9 PM right? There was no hostess present when we walked in, so we waited for someone to come back to their post. This is where I noticed there was trash on the floor that someone should have been cleaning. As I looked around, the place was pretty empty. Kinda sad honestly because this is a busy shopping area. The hostess finally shows up and asks if we want to sit at the bar. We politely decline because we are there to eat. She begins to tell us it’s going to be a while because there’s a large party over here, one table over there and this other server is about to clock out. (Literally there were only 2 seated tables) Well, okay, we’re not eating at the bar, so figure it out right? She walks away and leaves us waiting. Another couple walks in behind us. She gives them the same story and they begrudgingly agree to sit at the bar. We continued to wait. A few minutes pass and the couple that went to the bar begin to walk out. So I politely asked them what happened. They both explained that the bar was dirty, actually filthy and the bartender was more concerned about talking to people at the bar than even acknowledging them. So, we decided to give up and walked out. I truly hope the franchise owner or Fridays corporate reads this review. No restaurant should be in this sad of shape. You’re in a prime location and should be full of people. There is no excuse but just poor management. Please fix this before you go bankrupt. *Update 5/15. I filled out the link that TGI Fridays posted. I was supposed to hear from a manager. Crickets. A week goes by and I let them know I’d heard nothing. I’m emailed back that I would hear from someone in the next 2 days. Well, I heard from no one at the location. It’s clear there is a mgmt problem here and it won’t...
Read moreSo… this just really happened and now I’m slightly irritated because I tipped for no reason. I had placed an order online earlier because my partner and I were hungry. Well I picked up the food close to twenty minutes after my expected pick up time and proceeded home. Now it was my fault for not checking the bag before I got home… but I only stay less than five minutes away so I didn’t bother to call the store because I was only missing two items plus I only just left the store not even ten minutes prior. Now the guy who handled my to go order basically made it seem like I was lying, which I guess I can get that since I left the bag at home but my partner already started on the spinach dip. So over a salmon fillet and rice…out of all of the food….i have to argue with an employee about food that was paid for but was missing. Just two items y’all…. I’ve eaten there a few times over the years and never had bad service until today. My partner spent close to $70 including tip… of course we want what is missing and nothing more. I will not come back. And I updated the food quality rating because everything did taste good. However that doesn’t change the experience overall. Like why lie about something I’m more than willing to pay for if I wanted extra salmon?? Just the audacity to be told that everyone seen the person handling my to go pick up order put the salmon in the bag when clearly and obviously not because that’s why I’m back at the store. The guy handling the to go literally asked a server did he see him put the salmon in the bag… I literally was over it after that. Part of me wishes I would I have just brought all the food back and got a refund… but I just know to...
