Joey was an exceptional sales representative and the furniture is beautiful, but that is the only positive things I have to say about my experience. I bought a mattress set, adjustable base, full bedroom set, and dining room table with 6 chairs. Paid cash for my over $13,000 transaction on 11/25/2024, the day I closed on my new house. I received the dining room table the next week and it is gorgeous, I absolutely love it. My bedroom furniture was not available for delivery until 12/26/2024. On 12/24/2024, I receive a phone call saying my dresser and mirror were not going to part of the delivery and they don’t know when it will be delivered. 1/1/2025 I call to inquire about dresser and mirror and get told, Courtney that the delivery store has the dresser and it can’t be delivered until 1/16/2025. I ask for special accommodations to be delivered on a Saturday, since apparently they will only deliver to my area on a Thursday, which requires taking off from work. I was told that request would be checked on and I would get a call back. I receive no call. On 1/4/2025 I call again to inquire about delivery and get Courtney again, only to be told that the delivery was still scheduled for 1/16/2025 again I ask for a specific day of 1/9/2025, since my husband would be home that day, it was a Thursday. She is unable to get ahold of the delivery store and says she will email them and find out and will get back with me. I do not hear back from her. On 1/5/2025 I get an email saying my delivery was scheduled for 2/6/2025. My husband is very upset and goes to purchasing store, they tell him that the dresser is at the delivery store that it’s just the mirror holding up the delivery. We ask for the mirror to be removed, so that the dresser can be delivered. They credit us $140 and schedule delivery of dresser only for 1/23/2025. On 1/22/2025, after my husband has taken the day off of work on 1/23/2025, I get a phone call, saying that the dresser is not there and it can’t be delivered. I asked if anyone knew what was going on, because we are being told that the dresser is there. The man I talked to said that it wasn’t there and he hoped it came on 1/24/2025 and the earliest that it could delivered was 2/6/2025. I get told that I would get a credit of the cost of a nightstand to compensate for our inconvenience. I never received the credit. On 2/5/2025, I receive another call telling me that the dresser was not being delivered on 2/6/2025 and the next delivery time was 2/20/2025, three months after my purchase. In the meantime, I am living out of boxes an can’t fully get my house set up. The woman who called explains to me that the distribution center in Douglasville GA has the dresser, but is failing to put on the truck to deliver it to Jacksonville FL and that 15 other customers are being affected. I ask if the distribution center can be contacted about the issue and she tells me that that have been contacted. I inquire about the compensation that I was supposed to receive, she says she will check on it and get back with me. I still have not heard a thing from them. Communication is very poor and no one knows what is going on. I threatened this poor review and still, no communication from American...
Read moreThis furniture store is the most unprofessional business I have ever witnessed. I purchased a set of couches here, and it kept on getting delayed for months. When it finally arrived, one of our 3-seat couch was completely missing. They didn't even bother to call us or let us know in advance that one of our furnitures were missing. We had to find out on the day of pick up that we were not getting all of the furniture we had ordered. Two months after owning the couches, the tufted buttons started to easily come off, so we scheduled for a repair person to come and fix it. A week later, it came off again. In addition to the defective buttons, the couch itself is very lightweight, and feels like cardboard. It's extremely uncomfortable, and highly unpleasant to sit/lay on. We asked if we could return it, but it was past their 7 day return policy. We asked for an exchange, and fortunately the manager approved it. Another sofa was picked out and we paid the difference and purchased it. The sales associate stated the new sofa is available in stock and we could pick it up next week (Thursday) of March 2022. Thursday came, and we did not get a confirmation call that our new sofa was ready to be picked up. We assumed since they said they had it in stock that our sofa would be there. We rented a U-haul truck and when we called American signature furniture to let them know that we are on our way, they notified us that our furniture has been delayed until next Thursday. We had no choice but to say "okay", and wait until next Thursday. My husband and I requested off from work that day so that we could pick up our sofas. They said they would give us a confirmation call one day before pick up, and they would call again on the day of pick up. Nobody called us to confirm anything, so we decided to give them a call one day before pick up just to make sure we don't waste money on another u-haul truck. When we called, the lady on the phone sounded very nervous and placed me on hold for a couple minutes. She stated our sofas have been delayed until June 2022. That was not a guarantee either since they didn't have an exact date in June, and they didn't give an explanation as to why it was delayed again. Since we were so upset, we paid them in visit in person to state our concerns. The only thing they offered us was a $100 gift card since they saw how upset we were. Two days ago, we decided to use the $100 gift card. The only thing we found close to that price was a floor lamp, that cost $129. We paid the difference, and they stated it was in stock and we can pick up on Thursday. Today is Wednesday. I just received a call from them stating that our lamp has been delayed. They can offer us the floor model instead with no box, and no discount or an apology. This company is a joke, and we cannot wait until we are officially done with them after we receive our sofas and lamp. We do not recommend this company to anyone because they are very unprofessional and do not give the slightest care in the world about...
Read moreI recently purchased furniture from American Signature on Argyle in Jacksonville FL and while in the store the sales associate that assisted me was AWESOME. I was provided with a delivery date and all my questions were answered. I was advised that I would receive a call 3 days prior to the delivery. I actually received a call from an employee "Lo" who was BEYOND rude, unprofessional and needs to find another profession. She informed me that half of my items were delayed and couldn't tell me why "Just don't have it" as she stated. I called back and spoke with the Sales manager Hannah whom apologized for Lo's lack of customer service it takes to fulfill her job. However when I asked Hannah about the delays she pulled the inventory up and stated they had plenty in GA at the warehouse and she doesn't understand why my bedroom set was being delayed. Why would you tell a customer this????? Fast Forward to today and I received another call from Amy who informed me that the items would be be delivered until Oct 13 and this date could change. Amy was more knowledgeable and a bit more helpful but not to much better. Know take note that I have a payment due on Oct 1 when I asked about the payment being due and what could be done to I was referred to the finance company. When I spoke to the finance company to voice my concern about not receiving a delivery date and making payments on items I have no idea when I would receive or even if I would ever receive the furniture the finance company opened a dispute to pause any payments for 30-90 days. The finance company stated that American Signature has already been paid for the items so the company doesn't care. I truly believe this!!! It's like let's get people to come in the store and spend thousands of dollars and treat the customer like dirt AFTER we upsale and get their money. I know a lot of people are experiencing issues with delayed furniture and I totally get it but my only thing is at least be customer centric and not rude or argumentative to a paid customer. I love their furniture and had plans on returning to update a few rooms BUT it definitely will NOT be American Signature....Being able to provide outstanding customer service and respect has always been a must whether I'm at the Dollar Tree or Ruth's Chris. Also note that I have called the Corporate office twice with no response from a Store/Regional/District Manager. Great job American...
