We just left Lemongrass Thai Bistro and had a very negative experience there. I ordered the Amazing, with peanut sauce and broccoli. The first bite was so salty, it was repulsive. My husband tried and found the same thing and he is never picky at restaurants. Then I ate a piece of broccoli and it was very bitter, inedible and again my husband agreed. I order the Amazing at pretty much every Thai restaurant we go to, so it wasn’t my first time! It took quite awhile to catch the eye of our waiter and I told him the issues and that he should tell the manager. He asked if I wanted to order anything else but by this time, my palate was so messed up from the salty, bitter dish that I didn’t want anything else. I sat while my husband finished his pad thai. I asked the waiter if he had told the manager and he said yes, but the manager never came out to inquire about it. The waiter told us that’s how the Amazing dish is and their vegetables are fresh and did not offer to get the manager even when I stated that the manager should come out to speak with us, something very obviously was not right about the dish I ordered. They did take my dish off our bill but apparently had no concern for the safety of the meals they serve or concern about customer satisfaction. We frequent many Thai restaurants and were excited to try Lemongrass for the first time, but we will NEVER go back, considering that the manager couldn’t be bothered to speak to us. Would not a good restaurant manager be concerned about a customer being served a dish that is so bad? He/she should have tasted it himself and he would have clearly understood. BEWARE, you cannot trust the integrity of a restaurant’s food with this kind of experience. SO...

BEYOND disappointed with my experience ordering takeout. I ordered Chicken Pad See Ew, for $16 and expected a delicious authentic meal. Instead I received an oily, flavorless, disappointing meal. I mean literally it has zero flavo, except oil. When I went to pickup the girl at the register was talking on her cellphone on a personal call, she quickly swiped my debit card after telling me my $16 total. When handed the receipt and told to sign I see that I was charged $31 dollars. I informed her, she was confused and then very apologetic. That didn’t necessarily bother me because we’re all human and make mistakes, what upset me was that she didn’t know how to refund my card and the owner was outside eating dinner and drinking wine and didn’t come in to assist her. Instead this cashier went back and forth 3x and then eventually brought me outside to the owner who didn’t get up or apologize. Instead, I was told my card would eventually be refunded (which took 4 days by the way) and I was still charged the full $16. Had I known the disappointing food in store for me I would’ve simply left. Hailing from New York, I have had real Thai food and I assure any patrons, this is NOT it. Also, when I initially called I was told the meal had Chinese broccoli (as it should) but instead it had American broccoli. Very...

I came to eat here with a friend on a Monday early evening. We called only about 30 minutes ago to see if there was an open table and there was. In fact, there was quite a bit of availability there that day. We ate outside on the little terrace they have since my friend brought along her dog. There are maybe 6 tables on the terrace so it makes it kind of intimate. The server must have been new because he was not the most knowledgeable on the menu. The service itself was not bad, but not great either. I had to go inside two times to find some one to bring me napkins and refill drinks. In terms of food, the quality of the ingredients are good. You can tell they are fresh, the veggies all have a lovely crisp to them. However, for me, the food was missing a little bit of a punch. The flavors were there, but just very light and smooth. The summer rolls were quite nice although I had to orden the vegan version because they apparently soak chicken in some gluten sauce. I ordered one of the curries, the kiew wan. I loved that it had lots of veggies; it could have had more protein though. The sauce was tasty but again, it was missing something. One thing I did not love was how liquidy the sauce was. Over all, the place is nice and I would give it another try but the first time was...

Thursday date night with my wife so we decided to try Lemongrass Thai Bistro for the first time. We arrived shortly after 6pm. Everything started off fine. We liked the simple but trendy ambience. The staff was very welcoming. We ordered the Toam Yum Soup with seafood... delicious with a little kick. For dinner, we shared the Massamun Beef Short Ribs and Kiew Wan green curry with chicken. Both were a little on the sweet vs. spicy side but still good. Towards the end of dinner, things took a turn. The tables filled up and we realized our server hadn't checked on us for a while. When he did, we asked to box the leftovers and for the bill. We finally got the bill after a long wait and he forgot to bring the curry he was supposed to wrap up. Everything eventually was settled, but it somewhat left a bad taste in my mouth. Perhaps it was just one of those days.

Went to Lemongrass for lunch, and had the best drunken noodles of my life. I’ve been going to Lemongrass since it was located at Baymeadows, and never realized they actually relocated to Old St. Augustine Rd. I got the bangin’ shrimp to start and it was crispy, tangy and delicious. I had the drunken noodles for an entree and it was incredible. The perfect chewy noodles, the fresh vegetables (including mushrooms, bell peppers, & jalapeño), and that addictive & flavorful sauce. I believe Lemongrass has always been one of the best Thai spots in town, and it seems like they still got it. Also Libby was my server, and she was wonderful, so ask for her. Can’t wait to be back.

The food was absolutely delicious. The green curry was on point. The drunken noodles are amazing, the perfect amount of spice. The blue crab rangoon is the best. I made it just in time for the last 30 minutes of happy hour. The drinks were mixed perfectly. The bartender was also my waiter and server during the meal. He did an awesome job wearing all these different hats. The hostess that greeted us could use a little more training. Overall, this was a great dining experience. SN: There was a bug in one of my cocktails. The bartender handled it immediately and professionally. This incident did not take away from my fantastic experience here.
