We chose to celebrate a momentous family occasion here with 14 members and were terribly disappointed with a horrible experience that took three hours from start to finish.
We arrived at 1:15pm and were told by a very cordial young man that we would have an approximate forty minute wait as there was another large party there. We decided that was fine and we would wait. What the server neglected to tell us is that, the other party hadn’t been served yet, not even their drinks.
After an hour of waiting, we asked for an update and were told “they couldn’t make the people leave, they may be able to put us in separate booths.” Still not letting us know the other party was still waiting on their orders.
I then decided it was time to speak to the manager, I asked the bartender how to proceed and she asked if she could assist me as the manager was on the “cook line.” I shared our dilemma with her and she gave me the same line as the first server.
I then noticed there were three tables of four seats each and inquired about my family using those she agreed with some hesitation as she said they “would have to get servers to attend to us because she couldn’t work the bar and the tables too.” They called for two servers from the back of the restaurant to come forward to take our orders. That was okay for a while.
We were back to back, but together. We could see and talk to each other. However, the first table and second got meals and drinks, while our third table sat there waiting and waiting. Finally we found out the kitchen was delaying our waitress’s orders because of where they believed her station was that evening. Eight of our family members had ordered and completed their meals before the rest had even gotten theirs.
I ask you? Is this someplace you want to spend your hard earn money at. The food was mediocre and lukewarm, I spent almost $10 on a half a glass of wine and I didn’t want the rice that came with my meal, but was charged extra for a replacement “veggie.”
The compensation for this ruined experience was a complimentary appetizer or dessert on our next visit. In fact, as the manager was speaking to one of the younger members of my family, I asked him to stop at my table before he left. He ignored my request.

Read moreWe arrived around 4pm and were happy to observe just five other guests in the entire restaurant - peaceful and quiet and usually an empty location means attentive service but..... the only two times our server came to our table was to take our order and deliver our entrees with our appetizers and then deliver the check. Not once were we asked how our meal was, nor were our drinks refilled (soda) and we had to interrupt her chatting through the pass thru with the kitchen to ask for the butter & sour cream we had politely asked for when ordering then a second time for steak sauce (a first to NEED it in 30+ years at Longhorn) - oh a third trip asking for go boxes and our check which she kindly dropped by. Very pleasant polite waitress just not very invested in tending her two tables. Every since COVID the dependable quality of their steaks have increasingly declined (and shrunk) - you never ever used to see thick layers of dust covering the table sconces and ledges - or anything really that was within proximity to their guests dining tables This was a first time to truly need steak sauce to lift their Porterhouse to make it palatable , there wasn't anything to be done for the gristle riddled texture except saw away with the knife to extract a bite. I'm just extremely disappointed, for most of my adult life Longhorn had always been our family favorite go-to steakhouse. Always ordered their Porterhouse - no matter where in the country you were you used to be able to count on the top notch quality of their steaks to be the same wherever you visited any of their many locations We're not very likely to visit any Longhorn again - their best days have passed them by these past five years of progressive decline and I for one am truly...
Read moreOMG!!! So a friend and I dined in at Longhorn last night and let me tell you guys about it! So firstly our server’s name was Angela. Angela was super busy but that did not stop her at all from acknowledging our table and reassuring us that she would be on her way to us soon. As promised she was! She has a beautiful smile, personality, spirit, and a comforting southern accent. She was amazing. I ordered the Flo’s filet with the lobster tail, macaroni and cheese, and a sweet potato. I didn’t initially take a picture when my food came out because it looked so good I was ready to get it inside of me. Mid meal I had to stop and take a picture because I knew I was leaving a review. I almost got up and walked to the kitchen to figure out all parties responsible for the nourishment I was receiving because they cooked my food with seasoning and love. Like I need to know who was on the sides and the meats my food was soooooo goood. I feel like another restaurant could and would never be able to give me the experience I had last night. From being seated quickly, cleanliness, customer service, food, and overall atmosphere I have to give last night a 10/10 and a highly recommend. I would also like to point out the owner was in the building last night as well and I always say a team is as strong as their leader. I saw this man in the kitchen, at tables, at the door, everywhere. A true leader. I’m super happy that we decided to eat Longhorn and as you can tell from my photos my belly is too! They steak was perfectly cooked, lobster tail was good and juicy, sweet potato seasoned with a hint of Heaven, and that macaroni and cheese was macaroni-ing ok. I’m super pleased with...
