I will never forget the experience I had at this store. It happened months ago and I haven't been able to get it out of my head, nor the state of the pets when I came I had never been to this flea market, and also didn't know the store hours (they vary on Google and their Instagram page and the actual hours of the flea market itself). So my son and I came here after 2PM to look at pet rats for sale, not knowing the flea market was already closed. We drove around trying to find the store and finally just had to follow the stall numbers until we found it. But we actually didn't see the front of the store because the doors were already closed because we figured out right away that flea market, thus, the store was closed. The store's back door was propped open. It was in July and it was over 100°. My son walked through the door first and said hello, trying to see if anyone was there. He immediately called me to come up to the door. It was like something out of a horror movie. They had pet rats alright. There were tiny cages and one rat per cage. And out of the cages we saw just taking a few steps in, all of the rats were lying on their backs dead. There was no air conditioning, and like I said - 2PM at the end of July - which is like hell. And the smell was horrible. I can't describe the smell. We immediately left. But I can't get this out of my head, even 3 months later. We did find a rat at a different store, but my heart breaks thinking of the living conditions of those...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThese people dont care about the proper care of their animals. Im a local and scope out this store often to check.
They always ALWAYS have dead animals or multiple on very poor care. Their bunnies have poor food for their age, only bad pellets. Theres always dead fish and their birds are often in rough shape as well. I called the store to ask for the bunny breeder so that i can ask questions about care and age so that i can properly take care of it, and the man on the phone was very rude, saying "im not gonna give you my breeders number." I have also heard many instances from other people who have gotten animals from here with many issues they were unaware of.
This store clearly only cares about money and likely get their animals from non reputable breeders if they are so unwilling to provide their customers with important information about the animals they are selling. They dont care about what happens to the animals that leave their store nor about...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been reading these comments for a wile now..and my question is..is this the same shop I stepped into?
Because staff didnāt speak much English nor was it clean.
As entering there was a rabbit having a heat stroke as I walked further into this shop I noticed a beautiful chameleon but unfortunately it was DEAD and so was a red tail boa.
Iām sure there is countless dead animals in this store..for one that place is 100x to loud for a chameleon to survive (the tank set up didnāt even have a humidifier in it)
I did get something from the shop and it was so it had a chance to live without being abused and further.
The tail of my reptile wasnāt in good shape at all and was VERY dry and cold (this specific reptile needs to be kept at 100-120 degree)
Yet why did it have a regular light bulb on its tank? So it was maybe 50 degrees in the tank so a day or so more and it would have been dead. But Iām sure they wouldnāt have...
