I found this place on Google and from the reviews I thought it would be a great experience but I was so wrong. When we got in it wasnât crowded so I figured we would be serviced immediately, but no it took out waitress about 30 mins to come take our drink orders.
Since we already waited 30 mins I put in the food order as well. I ordered sweet tea and my daughter a sprite, also a lemon drop as a person in the reviews said the tea and lemon drop was good. We also ordered calamari for a appetizer. A family of four came in after us and they recieved their drinks before we ever did the waitress was looking at her phone, wiping off menus while we sat another 15 minutes before recieving our drinks. Remind you itâs not busy AT ALL. When I recieved the tea it was so NASTY and watered down I requested she take it back.
She finally brought out the calamari and it was in sticks like a fish stick it was rubbery and some cold and I immediately was like NOPE cancel my order because if the food taste like this Iâm not about to eat sushi from here.
The waitress came out with another tea saying it was from a better batch and Iâm was like I donât want any of the batches Iâm good. I paid for the two drinks and got out of that place so fast. My daughter drink was in a to go cup it wasnât until we left she noticed black particles was in her drink, and that just made me wish I never went there. Also the hostess was not that pleasant I would not recommend this place at all. And I solely chose this place off of the reviews...
Read moreEdited: The order was originally made on 3/30/2024 at 1:14 pm and the pick-up time was at 1:45 pm the same day. End Edit
Ordered online and picked up my order on-site. The man at the front counter was very polite. Suggesting we come back if we liked the food. Unfortunately, we will not be ordering from them again based on food quality.
The food was plain and cold. They followed the instructions I placed for the food to a "T" but the food tasted empty. I ordered for a lot of people and had a pick-up set for a later time so they wouldn't have to rush to make the order. We arrived a little early before the pick-up time. We live 3 minutes away so the food being cold was unacceptable.
The sushi was probably the most disappointing part of the whole meal. The sushi was supposed to be deep-fried, which, it was. But because it sat for so long, the sushi was soggy. I'm assuming they made the order immediately and didn't realize the time delay on the order cause it made the sushi inedible.
Not to mention the noodles that were in the meal that were not mentioned in the meal discretion? Awful tasting in my personal opinion. I'm not sure what they are called but when I figure it out, I'll make sure they are never in my take-out again.
TLDR
Maybe an "In-dining" experience would have been different. But ordering ahead and taking the food back home was a mistake I'm not making again when it comes to this place.
The inside of the building looked nice but I can't comment on a dine-in experience here when I...
Read moreInitially drawn by the unique sushi roll specials names, My friend and I both went in where we were given a booth and had our drinks taken in a timely manner. We ordered the Alaska roll and the Double spicy roll with the advertised specials on the appetizers for the fried pork gyoza and vegetable tempura to start, but upon further review of the menu we both decided to try the pork Katsu entree and a glass of the Plum wine. The appetizers, sushi, and plum wine all arrived within a short conversation about the atmosphere, the waiter, David's, quick assistance and close attendance, and we found ourselves talking about how good the tempura was between bites of the fresh sushi, and how well the sushi taste with and without the shrimp and eel sauce provided. The broccoli tempura and alaska roll tasted best to me, but my friend liked the squash, and the gyoza, but we both agreed the sweet potato tempura is unappreciated. The plum wine was a refreshing palette cleanser between bites, and we soon found ourselves nearly finished with the appetizer and sushi when our pork katsu entrees arrived. The Katsu's presentation was charming, and the vegetables complemented the white rice, and the pork katsu's sauce brought a lot of flavour to the plate. We found ourselves asking for boxes halfway through due to the helpful portions of the appetizers and main dish. Overall a great experience, and I fully intend on...
