Gretchen's Hallmark — Local services in Jacksonville

I stopped by Gretchen's Hallmark on Atlantic Blvd. yesterday to look around and see the new items. I stopped in front of the card display to pick out a special card for my brother who just got diagnosed with brain cancer. Needless to say, I broke down crying and a very nice lady named Angie came and checked on me and helped me find a card and brought me to a section that had small items that people could put in their pockets for encouragement. I found a very special one for my brother and checked out feeling happy with my purchase! I will be back and will always be buying my cards at this store because the cards and employees have more of a personal touch then the big box stores! Anytime I come to this store, everyone is SO helpful!!...

Gretchen's Hallmark and Lucy's are pass trough connected. They are both wonderful stores. Gretchen's is great Hallmark store with cards and a wide variety of knickknacks and delightful novelty items. Christmas is a great time to visit. Holiday decorations and music make shopping a part of the holiday celebration. Lucy's adds to your shopping options with all sorts of personal fashion items including Pandora, Hobo and other accessories. I am from New York and often heard of "southern hospitality". I had a reception to attend in Jacksonville and needed a gift. I was directed to Lucy's where I experienced genuine hospitality. The CSR was Shara and from the time I entered the store she made me feel special, and said she was glad I came to shop at Lucy's. I felt I had known her forever. She was sincere and very knowledgeable concerning the jewelry I was interested in. You, indeed, have a treasure in Shara. I will visit Lucy's again, and will call to make sure Shara is working.
