OMG Nails&Spa — Local services in Jacksonville

This place is lying about their reviews. There’s just no way they got this many 5 star reviews. The woman who did my nails, I’m pretty sure, was not certified to even do nails and just wanted to learn as she went. I’ve had to pick a lot of glue and gel polish off my nails and skin the past 24 hours. My nails are uneven when you feel them, the gel is bubbling so there’s no smooth finish like I like. The gel polish is already chipping.I also had to correct the nail tech multiple times. At first she started to paint the whole nail when I only wanted French. And then I wanted the thick french tips but she started to do the thin. I also told her I wanted them sharper but instead she thought I meant shorter so she dulled and shorted them even more. She didn’t even know how to do the thick French tip so she had someone come do it for her. All in all I will not be recommending or coming back. Terrible service, the woman was rude until she started messing up and then she suddenly became sweet. I was forced to do acrylic bc she didn’t know what I was talking about with gel x. Overpriced for the nails you pay for. I understand English is a hard language to learn, but if you don’t understand, please ask someone to translate instead of acting like...

OMG nails is my favorite place to get a mani-pedi. It's a very clean facility. Staff are always friendly and provide excellent service. My favorite is Summer, a charming lady and very experienced tech. She goes the extra mile and gives my feet and legs an invigorating massage. I suffer from poor circulation in my legs and feet. Summer uses a hot stone to help my circulation. It's better than what I get from my medical massage therapist who is treating my condition. OMG offers a wide variety of products and services. They offer complimentary water or, if you prefer, a glass of wine. They also offer eyelash extensions, facials, and reflexology for legs and feet. This would be great place to treat your gal pals for a birthday or wedding party. They even have a princess chair for your little princess to get a mani-pedi as well. Update: the owner, Ray, reached out to me and offered to fix my nail! My nails look amazing! They even lasted through my move this weekend!

First I’ll start with the positive. I was able to schedule a same day appointment for a dip manicure and a gel pedicure and I showed up on time and they took me for my pedicure. The service was great and my toes still look amazing.

Now for the not so positive, When it was time for my manicure. I had to wait for an associate. Not a huge deal but when she was ready for me. She was not engaged and it seemed like she was rushing my dip. It’s been a week and I’m nails are breaking not just the dip but my natural nails under the dip (which has never happened to me) and the top coat is coming off.
