Started out good several years ago. Used to be greeted by friendly staff when we entered the store. That has since stopped. There is a consistent problem with dirty, sticky shelves, especially around such items as applesauce and fruits in plastic cups on the gondolas. We raise a particular breed of cats, and we like th buy them the "Paws" brand cat food. and your "Arm and Hammer Essentials" Cat Because it is dust free, very absorbent, and very lightweight. You've changed the litter you buy to "Arm and Hammer Clump and Seal": absorbent, but heavier and not as efficient. Your Cat Accessories Shelves Contain: ear cleaners, high priced, neuro-toxic flea control products, really cheaply made low quality, over priced corrugated paper nail scratcher-sharpeners( they last for about two good sctatches) and then they are a pile of paper scraps on the floor for us to clean up. MOST CATS use these things in some form, or another or but the thing that iI really can't understand, is, that ANYBODYwho has EVER owned a car knows that ALL CATS GET HAIRBALLS, AND NEED HAIRBALL REMEDY. Over the past several years both my wife and I have asked EVERY MANAGER IN THE STORE ABOUT STOCKING HAIRBALL REMEDY. It costs less than $5.00 per tube at PUBLIX, JUST DOWN THE ROAD AT UNIVERSITY SQUARE. Each time, we were assured that they would stock the hairball remedy that we asked about. And so far, for the past SEVERAL YEARS; NOTHING. When I go to the PUBLIX tobuy my four or five tubes of Hairball Remedy, at a time, I also buy their $20.00 Nail scratchers, which are far superior to the paper ones, wihch you sell, and high profit margin items like cat toys and catnip.. Also I buy PRODUCE, because your selection is not good, You've been out of sweet onions for a couple of weeks. Your salad is also usually oxidized and slimy and has really poor deals as compared to the ones at Publix. Also MANY ITEMS on your shelves are past their...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been going to this store my entire life, nearly half a century, and the last three times I have been treated like some kind of criminal instead of a loyal customer. The full service checkouts are rarely open, the employees monitoring the self checkout area must be trained on invading personal space and speaking as rudely as possible to customers. If there isn't one employee standing unusually close directly behind me watching my every move while checking out there is another grabbing my hand and pushing it away from the product I am trying to check out while rudely chastising me for not doing it right. I have never been more embarrassed in my life as I have been simply trying to purchase groceries for my family at this store. When the self checkout kiosk started instructing me to put the product in a certain place the employee got unnecessarily involved as if I couldn't follow simple instructions and then looked at me and said "it's a security thing". When I mentioned how inconvenient their security measures are to honest paying customers the Winn Dixie employee told me to "tell Winn Dixie about it". Since it seems that the local paying public would have more interest than Winn Dixie does about their shameful treatment of customers I am opting to tell the public...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband and I shop here almost 3-5 times a week and we absolutely love every single employee we interact with. But this past Sunday evening 11/9/25 around 8pm we chose to use the self check out lanes, which we usually donāt use, but were sorta forced to because no regular lanes were open. The cashier in this area on this night was a lady named āCeciliaā. She was so extremely rude to my husband and I and made us feel as though we were interrupting her, or bothering her for some strange reason. She not only snatched my coupon out of my hand (I was using my ā6x pointsā) coupon. I can only assume that she was frustrated with us because we had to have the transaction suspended and taken to the register because we were using a healthcare card to pay for some of our items and the self checkout lanes donāt allow you to personally scan/use this payment method at self checkout. I have never received any sort of treatment like that from anyone else at this location and it honestly is just a bit...
