I haven't been inside Pizza Hut, so I can't comment on its atmosphere. But I've ordered from them over the phone twice. The first time I ordered, was a few months ago. I couldn't place an order online for anything under or over $20. So, I called and ordered two medium meat lovers pizzas. The white guy employee took my order, and the delivery guy brought my pizzas without any trouble. Though I didn't tip him, I thought he seemed like a nice guy.
The second time I ordered was on February 13th, 2024. I called a few times to place an order for one pep pizza with BBQ sauce and bread. But I couldn't get through to the same guy who had taken my order before. Eventually, a black woman employee answered and said that there was no order for that phone number. So, I gave them a new number to try. But when I called back, they still couldn't find my order. The black woman employee was rude and disrespectful and kept calling me "ma'am" even though I self-identify as a cisgender man. I was disappointed that I didn't get my pizza delivered this time.
It's a shame because I love pizza, and I was looking forward to enjoying it from Pizza Hut, which I thought was better than Little Caesars. For now, I can only give them two stars, and I won't rate them any higher until...
Read moreI've ordered delivery from here over many years. It went downhill, badly. I generally like the company and usually don't have an issue with pizza hut. The problem was first consistency. Now it's literally that I can't trust them to successfully get a pizza to me, anywhere, and if they do manage to get it to me, it's not at all what I ordered, or the pizza is severely lacking in quality. The worst was when they basically delivered me a crust with a little bit of sauce and cheese in the middle and a pile of incorrect toppings just sort of free-floating, untethered to the flat, disappointing, crust. If you can't get it right, don't try. Just tell me and let me decide what to do instead of disappointing me so very much. The problem is that I can't even quit being a customer because my mother is brand loyal and she's the one who needs the pizza when I order. So you're not just disappointing me, you're disappointing my mother, who doesn't really complain much and I love her dearly. You're making me feel bad about having to order food for her whenever I have a late meeting or I am under the weather. You are making me out to feel like I'm a bad son, which is way... way worse. A couple months later now, I inadvertently ordered delivery from this Pizza Hut location again last night. We simply never got our pizza. No one called, no one showed up, no one answered the phone when I called them three times and waited on hold for ten minutes every time. You can imagine our frustration when two hours went by and we still had no pizza and they still wouldn’t answer the phone. Absolutely crazy that Pizza Hut corporate allows this sort of thing.
