Dakota Central — Local services in Jamestown

We have been a customer of Dakota Central since 2001. They were very helpful setting up our phone, tv cable, and computer lines. Back in the 'old days' computer lines were dial-up. Then, when they updated to fiber optics, we were connected early in the process and was amazed at the speed of connections. All the employees were and are extremely helpful as well as courteous.

Whenever we call for assistance (help), the receptionist knows exactly who to refer us to in order to get the help needed. A person cannot ask for better than this!

The field personnel are very helpful, and also courteous, and willing to take the time to explain what went awry and why it did so. This knowledge helps us to ward off future problems (and to also be able to figure out what we can do when something fails to work like we think it should, or doesn't work at all) which doesn't need them to come out and do the job. Saves time for everyone involved or could be involved. The best 'trick' is unplugging, waiting a few moments, and plugging back in. Who would have guessed this could fix so many 'problems'!

We contracted Dakota Central to do work in a nearby hotel. They did the work, but then didn't finish with a proper signal test, like required.
