Stay was from Sept 29th-Oct 1st. Unfortunately, this is the worst branded Marriott I have ever stayed in. The room was absolutely nasty to the point that if I would have had the ability, I’d have checked out. There was sticky stuff all over the surfaces, stains all over the couch, a faint yellow stain on the bed sheets, a clump of something sticky in the carpet that I kept stepping on and it definitely had not been dusted in who knows how long. I have photos I will be attaching. That was all discovered after checking in at 2 am, to an employee who informed me of a 45$ fee due to using my debit card “to make sure there was enough money on the card.” I have over a decade of customer service experience, that is not the way to explain an incidental fee or apologize for a miscommunication. I specifically called a week prior to make sure there was not going to be an unplanned incidental fee, (I have been a Marriott member for years and it’s common and ranges from 20$-200$) I was told that there would not be an incidental fee. He didn’t wind up doing something correct, it didn’t charge my card the first night at all. The next day I was charged and it was 310$ which was not the 330$ I was initially told would be the charge after incidentals. The miscommunication is frustrating. After checking in, I asked if there was a luggage cart I could use and he directed me around the corner. I am exhausted, I just drove 9 hours, I have a ton of stuff I need to bring in. There are not luggage carts anywhere to be found, I looked down the hallways and the lobby areas. I asked the person on shift if he knew where I could find one to which he replied he did not know and that the others must have taken them into their rooms. Offered no solution and walked right back into the office. I wound up taking three whole trips back and forth before getting settled in. If I ever find myself back in town, this will not be where I stay nor will I recommend this to literally anyone else. Marriott has high standards typically and are usually beautiful hotels that are well kept. This should not be...

Stayed here 4 nights and by the 2nd morning I decided to get my own breakfast elsewhere. Terrible selection. Unless you’re into a pre made eggo in a ziploc bag. Milk was in gallon jugs that sat in a mini fridge with no lids on them all day. I had chosen to make a cup of oatmeal with milk instead of water. The rude breakfast staff lady approached me and said, “there’s no microwaves down here, that’s why the hot water is right there”. She grudgingly took my oatmeal and heated it up for me. I’d have used the microwave in my room if she hadn’t insisted on taking it from my hand. Next day, I’m filling a small water bottle with the water they have in the breakfast area. She then told me there’s a fountain down the hall. Breakfast warmers had signs that made it sound like you might be getting a decent sandwich. In reality, you open the lid to find pre heated wrapped jimmy dean (gas station) sandwiches. The room wasn’t very clean at all. Looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed. The pool deck was atrocious. There was food, bandaids, even an earring along with other garbage all over it. I didn’t feel comfortable barefoot. The water fountain in the pool area was covered in rust/mold. The slides weren’t turned on and myself along with 4 other families and children waited over an hour for the front desk attendant to turn them on. Before any of this, they had messed up the dates my group was staying. I had arrived to check in, waited about 25 minutes to get to my room. Unpack, get settled in, and then the room phone rings. It was the front desk saying they needed that room for the weekend (it was Monday, my checkout was Friday) and I needed to move downstairs to a different room. This hotel is great as far as a pool area is concerned for kids (with water shoes on), but all in all, I’d rather stay across the street at...
Read moreThe thing that first caught my attention about this hotel.... Something that I've been looking for with hotels in bigger cities nearby, but I never could never find... This hotel had... WAFFLES!!!! Already this is hotel had me at hello. I give this continental breakfast a big THUMBS UP.
Outside of the waffles, when you first walk in, the lobby is beautiful. It was clean, bright, and gave me a good feeling. This observation applied to, not only the lobby, but everywhere in the hotel. This has been one of the best hotels I've seen here in this state, so far.
OMG, the pool ... Wow... Just simply, wow... Mind blown! 🤯 The design of the area was awesome. It had natural light because of the large windows. Yes, they had lights inside of the area too.... Just in case someone was wondering that. The towels were readily accessible and clean. No trash, dirt or laundry on the ground. It was impeccable. The air-quality was "sauna-like." I thought it was nice since I have asthma. I can only imagine how warm the water was... I, personally, couldn't go in... Fibromyalgia flare-up... Looking at the kids and watching them play. They jumped in and out of the pool continuously to go down the waterslides -didn't even shiver. To further express how wonderful the environment of the pool area was, they didn't even mention the temperature -not once!. It was just right. Oh, there was a jacuzzi in the area, as well.
Due to health concerns, there was no housekeeping services during the stay; that's understandable --the blah COVID protocols... Stupid, but I get it. This visit impressed me... And don't forget about the...
