A couple of months ago, I took my 78 year old father to your store to update his flip phone before 3G was shut off. There were two amazing clerks there. One helped my dad. The other answered questions for me about my plan. Only two flip phones were available. We chose the TCL. It has been nothing but problems since. It randomly shuts off during calls. Today, we returned to the store to get assistance. The clerk was awful because we had "just a flip phone." He was not the least bit interested in helping. He offered to change the SIM card, but I told him that was not the issue. He couldn't tell us what the warranty was or when the phone was purchased either. We left and went to the corporate store. As we were explaining the issue another woman walked in with the exact same issue on the exact same phone. Suddenly our complaint was verified. After waiting forever, a clerk helped us. He actually cared. He could tell us when the phone was purchased and about the warranty even. He called customer support, ran some updates, changed some settings, and gave us a ticket number for the claim he submitted. He proceeded to tell us what to do with that number. I typically like helping out the smaller store and find this place to be a lot better, but today was not the case and it makes me question whether I should ever return when they wouldn't help out a customer who initially bought the phone there. Read moreI went to US Cellular with my 85 year old Mom today. My Mom fell over a bunched up rug walking in the front door. The staff was very concerned and helpful getting my Mom up off the floor and helping get her cleaned up. All downhill from there!! My Mom wanted a drink of water. They couldn't give her one. I had to walk down the street to get her some, leaving her there alone all shaken up and sore. I got back and Mom had to go to the restroom. They wouldn't let her use the one there. Had to walk her down the street, all sore, to go. They wouldn't save our place in line while gone. Luckily no one came in in between!! Have been sitting here waiting to get waited on for almost 2 hours!! All this after Mom fell!! At least 12 people have come and left without getting waited on in this time span. End up getting the internet after talking with thomas, i get emailed a promotion for a free TV a few days after. spoke with Danielle and assured me I qualified and would get my TV in 4 to 6 weeks if I didn't cancel within the trial period. I called Thomas (the only good sales rep there) and he assured me I WOULDNT be getting a TV because i didn't qualify at my location. Sucks you have to be lied to in order to not cancel something.
