If you have children, I would NOT recommend this place. The kids club is convenient but some of the staff should not work with animals let alone children. On a recent visit I observed my child being bullied by two older boys while the kids club worker sat and watched my child flail around and self harm and the two boys laughing and CONTINUING to taunt him. I was speechless, I said nothing took my child and left. On the way out stopped and talked to Nicole (front dest manager) about the situation and asked her to do something about it. Fast forward a month, never heard anything about it. Not a huge surprise, there have been other bigger issues like racism in the locker room that management swept under the rug and didn't want to address transparently, but this is the final straw for us. CANCELED and joined a more kid friendly gym. Poor management ruins good businesses! We will miss the athletic club and the great people we met along the journey. :..(
Response to owner comment - Nicole is part of the problem! She was made aware of the incident immediately after it happened and she swept it under the rug just like your management did when codey complained of racism in the locker room. We understand these are sticky subjects to tackle as a company but getting rid of codey and dismissing my complaints about my child is nothing short of plausible deniability. Just because you ignore it doesn't mean it isn't happening and being complained about! We also understand that you had to save face somehow and post a basic disclaimer... Get rid of Kim and Nicole and you will have integrity back in your company. Until then I will tell this same story. Do better for people Mark. We are the ones padding...

Original post: This place! 🤬 I joined here one year and three months ago with a "one year membership". To name a few issues: I had a negative experience with the trainer when I first joined so I didn't do that again (of course, there were extra fees for the trainer), you could only hydromassage once per month (but they later added an upgrade where you could use it once per day for an extra monthly fee), their tanning beds were disgustingly filthy the few times I used them (10-15 minutes cleaning before use each time). I called to cancel after a year & was told I couldn't cancel yet because they had given me a couple of free months at the beginning as part of a "sign up now!" promo. So, now my one year membership was really one year + a few months. I called last month to cancel and they said I had to wait until October. I called on October 1 and they said send an email. I sent the email and now they say thanks for the 30 day notice and are still charging me for another...
